A new Final Fantasy VII Remake, FF7 The First Solider tasks players with proving themselves to President Shinra in a Fortnite-esque arena, where they're required to master the franchise’s fast-paced combat, signature magic, and creature summons to win matches.

To bring a unique spin to the crowded battle royale market, it was previously revealed FF7 The First Soldier would be borrowing the jobs from the original Final Fantasy games. Instead of gameplay being determined solely on loot, a class-based system will play a key role in how matches unfold. These jobs or classes will come with their own skills and unique abilities, so adapting to their strengths and leveraging them could prove key to round victories. During matches, players will grow their style mastery, increasing the power of their class as they play.
