Final Fantasy 16 Will Be Releasing On June 22, 2023
During PlayStation's State of Play in June 2022, a trailer was shown to confirm that the anticipated release window for FF16 would be sometime during the summer of 2023. That timeframe has now been narrowed down with a brand-new announcement at the recent Game Awards, stating that players can expect to find themselves in the world of Valisthea facing down the Blight as soon as June 22, 2023. With the FF16 release date confirmed, pre-orders have already opened up for eager fans of the series to ensure they will be among the first to receive a copy.
FF16 Will Be A PS5 Exclusive For Six Months
During the first six months of Final Fantasy 16's release, the game will be an exclusive title for the PlayStation 5. With the PS5 continuing to be in high demand it remains difficult to find one available for purchase in many markets, which could affect the initial sales of Final Fantasy 16.
