More players each day in sales of FFXIV being temporarily suspended. After completing the story, the endgame loop in Endwalker revolves around completing the same few dungeons and raids, week after week, to get desired loot and tomes.
The beginning of every expansion is an exciting time, with new stories for players to learn and unknown content waiting to be discovered. However, as time goes on, adventurers experience most of what the game has to offer as the developers write more stories and create additional content to keep fans playing FFXIV. The release of Endwalker was pushed back due to COVID-19, causing a delay in the development of new raids and dungeons. With only so much content released, fans are experiencing the same endgame problems as previous expansions in Endwalker.
There is only one raid series and eight dungeons throughout the new expansion, the first being Pandaemonium raid FFXIV: Endwalker. While it has only been a little over a month, the endgame is already starting to get stale for some players. To keep their gameplay fresh, adventurers should seek out other new activities the expansion has to offer.
There Is More To FFXIV: Endwalker's Endgame Than Raids & Dungeons
Endwalker added much more to the game than just some more dungeons and a raid to grind for endgame gear. Reworks were conducted on multiple jobs with the release of the new expansion, one of the most notable being the removal of Damage over Time skills for the Summoner. Players can continue to explore the new areas, collecting all missing Aether Currents to enable flying for their mounts. The Ishgard Empyreum Housing District opened in Endwalker, giving adventurers a new location to purchase a house. With the rise of the level cap for combat jobs, comes an increase in the max level for Disciple of The Hand and The Land classes, bringing new recipes. While not out yet, one of the biggest additions to the game fans can look forward to is the new PvP mode Crystal Conflict releasing in Patch 6.1. This exciting new game mode offers players a way to get exclusive rewards based on their performance against other adventurers.
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker delivered a phenomenal story and conclusion to the Hydaelyn and Zodiark story arc. The expansion is filled with content both new and old fans can enjoy. A number of different activities are available to keep adventurers busy until more exciting stories are added in the future. There may be only one raid and eight dungeons currently in the game, but players do not have to look far, to experience a new adventure.
