Strong characters are what many movies, shows, and video games have in common. In the MCU, it's these strong heroes who make fans feel as though they can relate and ire, looking up to someone who's capable of greatness.
In the Final Fantasy series, especially XV, each intricate story wraps around every character, creating a dramatic and emotional masterpiece. The two share many things in common, among them the characters who fight to save the world from plunging into darkness.
Noctis Lucis Caelum & Bucky Barnes
Noctis, much like Bucky, has a lot to learn when it comes to maturity and doing the right thing. They both go through a process of self-discovery and transformation, leading them to be the heroes they were ultimately always meant to be.
The childish attitude of Noctis echoes the cold, untrusting nature of Bucky, and IRL, they'd probably make a decent match for once another in a face-off.
Lunafreya Nox Fleuret & Wanda Maximoff
The gentle nature of Lunafreya is not overshadowed by her power, which is tremendous. In a way, this is very similar to Wanda Maximoff's as the Scarlet Witch.
Both are incredibly gifted with a demeanor that's seemingly soft in appearance, but both will fight to the death should the circumstances warrant it. And in some cases, they have.
Gladiolus Amicita & Thor
While Glady could easily be compared to the Hulk in just the same way, there's something about Thor's arrogant bravado that echoes so much the same in Gladiolus.
While one wields a hammer and the other wields a greatsword, the two are worthy opponents and fit each other's archetypes to a T.
Prompto Argentum & Spider-Man
Prompto's child-like fascination with both the world and his friends is almost too good a match for Peter Parker's fascination with... well, everything.
These two would be fast friends if they were to meet in some alternate universe (maybe a job for Doctor Strange?), and would without a doubt help one another with their insecurities. While Prompto might be slightly more mature, the two are nearly identical in characteristics.
Ignis Scientia & Doctor Strange
Same energy, right? Ignis, the intelligent, calculated, and always confident companion of Noct, and Doctor Strange, the all-knowing keeper of time, are undoubtedly counterparts.
In of smarts, the two would give one another a run for their money. In of fighting, they'd also be well-matched. and, in of slightly sarcastic, cynical witticisms, even more so.
Ardyn Izunia & Loki
Loki and Ardyn make almost too good a pair in the sense that if they were to actually work together, the world might cease to be. Loki, the God of Mischief, and Ardyn, the Chancellor, are both capable of diabolical plans.
However, they also both share a softer, 'good' side. Ardyn was once a healer as was revealed by his DLC, and Loki eventually came around and learned what true comion looks like. The question is, would they bring out the good or the bad in one another?
Regis Lucis Caelum & Iron Man
Regis may not have had much screen time in Final Fantasy XV but he did make a solid appearance in the Brotherhood anime that served as the prequel to the game. In both, he is a strong leader, capable of guiding a city, but also a troubled father.
Iron Man, AKA Tony Stark, shares these bold attributes, and also struggled with his own relationship with his father. These themes echo their pasts, making them better counterparts than many people realize.
Aranea Highwind & Carol Danvers
When it comes to two characters who have almost the exact same energy, there is no pair on this list better suited than Aranea Highwind and Carol Danvers, AKA Captain Marvel. Both are fiercely independent, bold and brash in their brutal honesty, and have histories that are somewhat mysterious and guarded.
As fighters, they differ - Aranea with her spear and Captain Marvel with her otherworldly power; in fighting spirit, however, the two would probably be one another's mirror image.
Iris Amicita & Mantis
Guardians of the Galaxy, was also sweet and lovable (albeit a bit unusual).
While Iris has no power of her own, it's her personality and innocent likeability that put her on par so much with Mantis. Both of these character's abilities to feel empathy for other people - whether it was through human emotion or otherwise - make them very similar.
Cindy Aurum & Pepper Potts
Normally, it would be tough to draw Cindy to any character in the MCU simply because of the fact that she's not a fighter and her scenes in Final Fantasy XV are very brief. However, Pepper Potts does make a logical choice thanks to the nature of the jobs of these two.
Cindy, very much like Pepper Potts, has a very behind-the-scenes role. She maintains the Regalia and is important when it comes to upgrades. Pepper Potts essentially serves as Tony Stark's home base and his navigator, and, while she does fight alongside the Avengers, she got her start as an assistant.
