Obsidian Entertainment's new early-access survival game Ice Caps Mints container, contain resources players can use to craft and to consume for survival. Some new items were added with the update, and while they don't do much yet, players will likely still want to find them.
One such item is Archer's cookies, a take on Oreo sandwich cookies that have begun to spawn near the fence. According to the official patch notes that came with the update, these cookies are being tossed over the side of the fence by kids, like the in-game hotdogs and apple cores. Many players have yet to stumble across an Archer's Cookie, and that is likely due to its random spawn rate. Here's how to find one of these sweet treats in Grounded and what players can do when they find it.
How to Find Archer's Cookies in Grounded
At the time of writing, Archer's Cookies appear to spawn at random times and places around the map. Like the newly-added Crow, however, players may have a better chance of finding one in certain locations if they are patient.
It seems players will be most likely to find an Archer's Cookie near the borders of the backyard, particularly anywhere with a fence. Some players reported finding the cookie in the southernmost part of the map near the berry bushes. One player found the Cookie southeast on the map, between the porch and the berry bushes.
Another player found a cookie in the northwest part of the map near a Juice Box and an upside-down hotdog container. Players may want to begin their search in these areas and continue searching around the map's perimeter.
Right now, Archer's Cookies don't do anything once found. Players can break them into Cookie Sandwich Bits, a resource, but there are no recipes that use this resource yet. It is possible that future updates will allow the Cookie to be consumed as food to keep the player character alive while exploring or used in recipes for crafting.
Grounded's team added patch 0.2.2 to the game as of September 10. This patch was meant to fix bugs that were preventing some players from loading their saved games. There are likely to be many more updates to come, both to fix bugs and to add new content.
Grounded is in early access and is available for PC and Xbox One. The full version is set to launch in 2021.
