Roserade is at the top of the evolutionary chain of the rose pokémon and can be found and/or caught in several situations in Pokémon GO. As the top evolution, Roserade has two earlier evolutions named Budew and Roselia. For players dedicated to getting this beautiful grass and poison pokémon, here are all the different ways to get one.
Unfortunately for many players, Roserade and any pokémon that is at the top of their evolutionary chain tend to be harder to find out in the world. It is usually much easier for players to find one or both of the earlier evolutions and evolve them until reaching the top evolution. Due to this, most of these ways to get a Roserade will use the evolutionary chain.
Where and When to Look for Roserade in Pokemon GO
For the easiest everyday lookout for Roserade and its previous generations, players should keep an eye out for the weather in their area. Different weather boosts different types of pokémon and makes them more likely to spawn in the nearby area. As this pokémon is a combination of grass and poison types, it is more likely to spawn during a sunny day, clear night, or cloudy weather. Using incense will also help on these weather days.
However, this is not a guarantee that players will find a Roserade as there is plenty of other grass and poison-type pokémon in the world. For another chance at starting a collection of Roserades, players can check what types of eggs they have. Budew is hatched from eggs that have a two-kilometer walking distance on them. Simply pop the two-kilometer eggs in an incubator and walk around. Sadly, this will only get players the very first evolution within the Roserade chain and without more Roselia candies, it is still a long way off to a Roserade.
For the best chance to catch or evolve a Roserade, players should look for the Roselia Community Day and Roselia Spotlight Hours. catching a shiny. Shinies are boosted to one in 24 of the Roselias on the map. This day falls on February 7th of every year and the event lasts for six hours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pokémon GO is available on Android and iOS.
