Where to Find Toxicroak in Pokémon GO
Pokémon in Pokémon GO appear in different locations depending on their type. Certain types of Pokémon are more commonly found in specific areas or under certain weather conditions, like they would with any other Pokémon.
Unfortunately, Toxicroak is a fully evolved Pokémon, so it has a lower chance of appearing in the overworld. Thankfully it’s pre-evolution, Croagunk, has higher chances of appearing, and evolving one is the easiest and more surefire way to obtain a Toxicroak. Players will need 50 Croagunk candies in total to evolve it into a Toxicroak. Every Croagunk caught gives three candies and sending one away to Professor Willow gives one more. Because each Croagunk grants four candies in total, players will need to catch 13 for them to evolve one. Croagunk also has the unique Fighting and Poison-type combination, so they will appear in the same locations as their evolved brethren. What’s more, Croagunk are a special species of Pokémon that can be found in nests. Pokémon nests are specific locations in the world that certain Pokémon have a high chance of spawning in, and Croagunk is one that has a chance to nest. These nest locations change over time, so some players might luck out and live near and area that Croagunk have migrated to.
Pokemon Go is available now on iOS and Android.
