Tell Me Why Chapter 2: Family Secrets is an adventure game that takes place in an Alaskan town called Delos Crossing to where players must unravel a mystery centered around the Ronan family. This game is dense with environmental narrative and there's much to digest in of this game's 3 Chapter story. The first chapter of Tell Me Why was released on August 27, 2020, by Dontnod Entertainment. Planned as a three-chapter story arc, each succeeding chapter will be released every week after its launch. So, Tell Me Why Chapter 2: Family Secrets was just released on September 3rd and it continues the story of twins Alyson and Tyler Ronan as they try and figure out the reason for their mother's death as they try to sell their childhood home. The story picks up with the twins cleaning up their childhood house as they discover more clues about their childhood and share memories with each other through their psychic abilities. Like the previous chapter, there are many characters to interact with branching dialogues, some light-hearted activities, and puzzles to solve. The twins have special abilities that enable them to see their shared memories in real-time at the physical plain, which is paramount for piecing the story together through gameplay.

Although there are memories to find and observe, there are also books and notepads strewn throughout the levels that help enrich the story. The adventure genre is centered on discovering clues and using various items to by situations. Tell Me Why brings back these sentiments and there are secrets tucked away in all manners of this game's nook and crannies. With that said, there is also an assortment of collectibles to find that be a bit tricky to find. Some of these come in the form of 'figurines' and some of them can take some work to find. One of the most elusive figurines to find is the 'Very Old Beaver Figurine'.

The 'Very Old Beaver Figurine' is hiding somewhere in the 'Last Rites' section of the game. Players will be trekking through a snowy graveyard and watching the various memories of the twins during their childhood. Eventually, players will find a memory of Carol Brown at the footing of her grave. This is a very important clue because this will signify that the player is close to the beaver figurine. It's all just a matter of knowing where to look. If players look behind her tombstone, they will find a small box. Take the box and open it up. Inside it will be the 'Very Old Beaver Figurine'. This box can be easily overlooked, so it's advised that players position their cameras so they can fully see behind the tombstone.
