Jarlings are adorable little glowing jars hiding in the different areas in The First Berserker: Khazan, and are one of the two main collectible items in the game. There are 44 different Jarlings hiding across the main regions, and as you collect them you'll be able to unlock purchasable items from the Jarling collector, Danjin. Danjin is a weird guy with a jar on his head who collects Jarlings, but you won't be able to unlock him until you complete the "Jar Enthusiasts" mission in the Cradle of Jars.
Danjin sells a few different unique materials, including special crafting materials used to craft various gear sets at the The First Berserker: Khazan's soulslike gameplay.

All Jarling Locations In Charnak Mountain Range
The Charnak Mountain Range is where you first discover and unlock Jarling collection, as the Cradle of Jars area and "Jar Enthusiasts" mission are here. The mission itself will get you the first handful of Jarlings and jump-start your Jarling collection. "Jar Enthusiasts" is relatively straightforward, and you won't be able to clear the Cradle of Jars area without finding each of the six starting Jarlings. All together there are 13 Jarlings in Charnak Mountain Range, with one in each area (aside from the six in Cradle of Jars). Once complete, you'll have access to Danjin in the Crevice.

There are 11 Jarlings scattered around the Pell Los Plateu, bringing your total to 24 if you've managed to collect all the Charnak Jarlings. The majority of these are straightforward, but you'll want to be careful in the Linon Mine as there are combusting, plague-emitting piles all around the Jar location that build up plague status extremely fast. You'll want to go into all three Linon Mine areas with Plague Cleansing Potions, or be prepared to get in and out very quickly to avoid the damage.

All Jarling Locations In The Heart of Pell Los
The Heart of Pell Los has the most widespread collection of Jarlings in The First Berserker: Khazan, and will have some of the toughest bosses you've likely come across so far. After collecting all 13 of the Jarlings in Heart of Pell Los, you'll have a total of 37 Jarlings and should be able to start utilizing the better Jar Helmets in your build as headpiece replacements. Higher-tier Jar Helmets have a fixed attribute that reduces the required number of set pieces for bonus effects, making it possible to use Jar Helmets instead of the set's designated helmet.

All Jarling Locations In Vitalon Capital of the Empire
The final area in The First Berserker: Khazan is the Vitalon Capital of the Empire, and it includes the seven remaining Jarlings, bringing your grand total up to 44. As this is the last major region, the bosses and enemies here are among the most challenging in the game, so be prepared for a fight.

The First Berserker: Khazan - How To Beat Keshta The Unyielding (Boss Guide)
Keshta the Unyielding is a bonus mission boss you'll be able to fight early in The First Berserker: Khazan, unlocking his Spirit of Advocacy.
You will be able to purchase the most valuable Jar Helmets at this point as well, and this is when they start to become extremely viable during particular boss battles to buff your defenses substantially. I'd recommend at least trying out a Jar Helmet once to see if it makes any difference for your playstyle.

Rewards For Collecting Jarlings
Purchase Jar Helmets From Danjin
When you collect Jarlings, you'll be able to return to Danjin to purchase some quirky Jar Helmets with interesting and unique effects. There are various options available at different tiers based on how many Jarlings are collected. Common Jar Helmets only require eight Jarlings, while some of the best Legendary Helmets, such as The Bewildered Jar and The Most Special Jar require a minimum of 42 Jarlings collected. Epic-quality Jar Helmets and above can be swapped out for your regular headgear thanks to the fixed attribute that reduces gear requirements for set bonuses.

The First Berserker: Khazan - The Best Spear Build (Armor Sets, Weapons, Stats, & Skills)
The best spear build for The First Berserker: Khazan incorporates the Deep Shadow and Crushed Dreams sets and invests in Willpower & Proficiency.
Overall, Jarlings are one of the more lighthearted gimmicks in The First Berserker: Khazan, adding some levity to a tumultuous and difficult game. If you're not keen on tracking down each Jarling one by one, your best bet is to destroy all the jars you come across, though it's likely you'll miss some of the more obscurely hidden Jarlings.
