Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for Flashpoint Beyond #6DC Comics has revealed the final fate of the Watchmen's Doctor Manhattan resulting in the New 52), the Flashpoint Universe remained with its residents such as Thomas Wayne's Batman existing as living paradoxes. However, the primary DC Universe's Batman has taken a major risk to save these alternate versions of his parents as seen in the final issue of Flashpoint Beyond.

Previously, Batman's father Thomas Wayne found himself back in the Flashpoint Universe, the same timeline where Bruce dies and Thomas lived alongside his wife Martha who became the Joker in her grief. Assuming that his son's reality has somehow disappeared once more, Thomas' Batman believes nothing in his own timeline matters, putting all of his efforts into bringing back the reality where he knows Bruce lives. However, he doesn't know that the original Batman is alive and well despite being in direct conflict with the Rip Hunter and the Time Masters.

As revealed in Flashpoint Beyond #6 by Geoff Johns, Tim Sheridan, Jeremy Adams, Mikel Janin, Gary Frank, Romulo Fajardo Jr., Jordie Bellaire, Brad Anderson, and Rob Leigh from DC Comics, Bruce Wayne recovered a snow globe and watch which both belonged to Doctor Manhattan, each of them serving as temporal talismans full of chronal energy. This makes them able to contain the Flashpoint Universe and keep his parents alive. While Rip Hunter claims Thomas Wayne's rejection of the reality will lead to Flashpoint breaking free and destroying DC's Omniverse and Hypertime, Bruce chooses to have confidence and faith in his father. Sure enough, Thomas refuses to Martha who secured a time machine so they could go back into the past and save their son. Instead, they decide to remain in the present to watch over Dexter Dent, the Flashpoint universe's new Robin.

Bruce Wayne's Batman Has Finally Saved His Parents

Flashpoint Universe Stabilized In Snowglobe

Due to Thomas and Martha's decision to finally embrace their current reality without Bruce, the Flashpoint Universe finally stabilizes within Manhattan's snow globe (much to Rip Hunter's surprise). As such, Bruce's Batman is now the caretaker of Flashpoint, keeping the temporal snow globe in the Batcave. This effectively gives the Dark Knight his own version of Superman's bottled city of Kandor in his Fortress of Solitude.

With an army of Kryptonians invading Earth and the Waynes having reformed their family with Dexter in the Flashpoint timeline, there are plenty of adventures to still be had despite the alternate reality no longer being in flux. In any case, it's nice to see Thomas Wayne's Batman and Martha's Joker getting a happy ending and a future, even if it isn't the one they thought they wanted. Flashpoint Beyond #6 is on sale now.
