Help Wanted 2’s Update Provides A Strong Hint Toward An April Release

The first is “1979”; this is the second time this year has been referenced in relation to Secret of the Mimic, suggesting that Secret of the Mimic’s timeline placement will dive into a very early part of the Fazbear brand. However, the second code, “4625” has no clear connection to established FNAF lore. Instead, this code may be indicating Secret of the Mimic is intended to release on April 6 2025.
This April date is derived from dividing the in-game code into 4/6/25.
It is important to note that this potential release date is nothing more than speculation at present. Just as the rest of the teaser update relates to Secret of the Mimic, “4625” may instead be a direct reference to something that will be found within the game. Although with that being said, given the franchise’s reputation, it would certainly make sense for a subtle hint about FNAF’s next release date to be provided in this manner.
Help Wanted 2’s Code Won’t Be Insignificant
The Franchise Would Not Provide A Code With No Meaning
Of course, it is almost certain that 4625 is a code with a deliberate meaning. Again, Five Nights at Freddy’s has long since developed a reputation for providing key lore through seemingly small details, making it extremely unlikely that this choice of numbers was simply random. For example, it is worth noting that “4625” is also a Microsoft error code for a failed log-on. This could mean the number actually references somebody attempting to access the M.X.E.S. console, which is what accepts the code at the very end of the teaser in Help Wanted 2.
