Since the "Flower Power" era, Nickelodeon has been an outlet for kids all over the globe. It has been the one-stop-shop for the best television shows and films for kids and it doesn't look like the streak will run out anytime soon. As the years have gone by, Nickelodeon and other kid brands have shaped their world based on what the typical kid likes and dislikes; since the very beginning, it has been a starting point for many kid stars that have turned into full-fledged celebrities in their adult years. Most of the success is owed to these celebs in their younger years because they too were kids and viewers knew they could relate.

As viewers grew up, they may have forgotten about some of their favorite cast or characters from their most beloved shows when they were younger. Everyone likes to feel nostalgic and for the age group of the last couple of decades, this one is for them.

In 1999, one of the most popular television shows for kids was All That. There were a lot of cast on the show, but there were a few that stood out and got their own show; namely Amanda Bynes in this instance. Amanda got her own spin-off show called The Amanda Show after doing so well on All That. There are other well-known actors and actresses in the show, but the best part about it was that Amanda played multiple characters that were insanely funny likable.

After three seasons, Amanda went on to star in other very successful movies sans the Nickelodeon umbrella. Almost 20 years have ed since the show calls it quits, there are still ways it holds up in today's standards. Although Amanda had a steady career up until 2010, since then, she's been working on herself and went back to fashion school to pursue a different career.

Ryan Reynolds - Fifteen

These days, Ryan Reynolds is known for his roles in Deadpool and other action-packed films, but when he was a kid, he was known as Billy Simpson on the show, Fifteen. The show followed students of Hillside School that dealt with normal issues teenagers deal with in real life such as divorce, dating, friendship, and substance abuse.

The show had its stereotypes but was a good show for teens to see so they may not feel so alone.

Since she was always around the film industry, it's no surprise she found herself interested in acting. She had a few small parts as a young girl, which viewers probably identify her most for being Johnny Depp's daughter in Blow; but people may have forgotten where she really took off in of her acting career.

In 2004, Emma scored the lead role in Unfabulous and led her to be nominated for various awards. The show lasted for three seasons and was a huge hit with the younger audience that watched Nickelodeon. Since then, Emma has played some pretty iconic roles and she's only in her late-20's.

Nick Cannon - All That

Nick Cannon has had a successful music career, he's been a host for various successful shows, he's been married to music icon Mariah Carey and he was once on the uber-popular show,  All That. From 1998 to 2005, Nick played various characters on the show and since there were so many actors and actresses that revolved in and out of the show, it might've slipped from fans of the show's mind that he was once a mainstay.

Since then, he's been continuing to host up a storm for shows such as America's Got Talentand several others that are worth a watch.

Even though it might come as a surprise that viewers may have forgotten about her success on this show, she's more well-known for playing Sabrina on the Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which one of several shows that can still be viewed on certain streaming channels

When it comes to the pop music genre, Ariana Grande is a force to be reckoned with. It seems like she's been around forever, even though she's only in her 20's. There are a lot of celebrities that are known as triple threats, but since Ariana is such a huge pop star, her acting career prior may have fallen to the back-burner.

From 2010 to 2013, Ariana played Cat Valentine on Victorious. She did a great job at playing the bubby, ditzy, cheerful girl that's the main character's best friend. Fortunately, there are other shows like Victorious that are current and worth a watch.

Nickelodeon had some pretty iconic shows from the 1990s that were filled with laughs and one-liners, but there was nothing like the show, Are You Afraid of the Dark. This show stood out because it was creepy for the age group and had a sense of realism because of The Midnight Society. The group of kids was all great, but some such as JoAnna Garcia Swisher went on to have a successful acting career.

Fans of the show might have overlooked her role because she went on to star in shows such as Reba and Not Another Teen Movie.

She initially started out as a singer and when she was cast in Barbershop 2: Back to Business, people saw her potential. In 2008, she landed a real gem when she was cast as a 15-year-old fashion guru named True Jackson in True Jackson, VP.

Since then, Keke Palmer has taken on other iconic roles that have pushed her into super-stardom, but hopefully, fans will now her for this role as well.

Even if people aren't fans of The Walking Dead, they know about it and what it's about. This show has proven to be a successful show, with some successful cast ; Christian Serratos included. Roles like this can overpower other roles, which is probably why fans have forgotten that Christian was in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

She played the role of Suzie Crabgrass, a middle schooler that's trying to navigate her way through the pains and gains of being a young woman. This show was a hit on Nickelodeon and was a great show to follow for young kids.

Elisha Cuthbert - Are You Afraid Of The Dark?

Elisha Cuthbert has had a successful career that ranges from movies such as The Ranch; but when she was younger, she was one of the lucky ones who scored a main role on Are You Afraid of the Dark.

Of course, there was the original cast, but later on, Elisha played Megan and was a fixture on the show from 1996 to 2000. Kids around the world would be super excited to be one of the of The Midnight Society and Elisha actually got to be one.
