Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 is here, and it’s packed with new challenges, weapons, and tough bosses who guard some of the best loot in the game. This season has a lawless vibe, with a gritty, crime-filled city called Crime City and powerful bosses ruling its dark corners. This season already has a lot of cool new additions, but it looks like the bosses are tougher than ever. The rewards are considerable and can completely shift the outcome of a match, helping you secure a Victory Royale.

Earning these prizes won’t be easy. Each boss fight is a high-risk challenge, testing your combat skills against some of the toughest opponents Fortnite has ever created, and not even a Fortnite Crew Subscription will help you. These bosses are spread across the map, so you must plan carefully and think on your feet. Winning isn’t just about being good at fighting—it’s about knowing where to find these bosses and figuring out the best way to take them down.

Where To Find Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Bosses

In Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2, there are two tough bosses you can fight to get some great loot. To find them, you’ll need to know where to look and how certain events in the game work. The bosses are Fletcher Kane and Shogun X, and they both have prerequisites before coming out. So make sure you’re ready to spend time on setting up each boss fight before you try and fight them.

Fletcher Kane

Crime City Bank (appears after Vault Heist)

Barnons’ Double Down Pistol, Unstoppable Medallion, Med-Mist Smoke Grenade

Shogun X

Loot Island (spawns at Storm Circle 4)

Enhanced Holo Twister Assault Rifle, Super Shield Medallion, Chug Jug

First, you’ll track down Fletcher Kane, a mobster hiding in Crime City. He doesn’t just hang out in the open—he only shows up after you start a Vault Heist in the bank, the southernmost building in Crime City. To start the heist, you’ll need to find Thermite, a strong explosive scattered around the area, and use it to blow open the vault door.

Fortnite: Chapter 6 Season 2 - All Outlaw Vending Machine Locations

Fortnite's Chapter 6 Season 2 comes with Outlaw Vending Machines that sell items like epic weapons and Thermite. Find where the vending machines are.

Once you do that, Fletcher Kane and a bunch of guards will appear. He’ll always be in the same spot inside the bank after the heist starts, so you know exactly where to find him. From there, you can take him out by shooting him a lot, but it’s better to do this in a group because his crew can be distracting.

You’ll need to head to Loot Island to face and beat Shogun X in Fortnite, which is exactly how he was found in Chapter 6, season 1. This Island isn’t always in the same place—it only shows up when the fourth storm circle starts, and its location changes every game. It’s usually somewhere in the playable area, but it might sometimes be close to the storm’s edge, so you’ll need to be careful. Keep an eye on your mini-map when the fourth circle starts to close, and look for a floating island in the sky.

Once you see it, make sure it's set to being your target. How you get there depends on where the island spawns and where the storm is. You might need to fly, build, or run to reach it, and you’ll likely run into other players trying to do the same thing, so be ready for a fight. Try to take out any other players before fighting Shogun X, as any competitors will attempt to eliminate you first, too.

Best Strategy For Beating Bosses

Smart & Effective Fortnite Boss Battle Tactics

To beat the bosses in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2, you’ll need a smart plan that fits each boss’s specific challenges. Winning these fights depends on using good tactics, picking the right weapons, and moving carefully. For both bosses, ensure you have plenty of ammo, healing items (like medkits, shield potions, and Chug Jugs), and maybe even materials to build cover if needed. Be ready to change your strategy based on your skill level and what resources you have at the start of the match.

When fighting Fletcher Kane, a powerful weapon like a shotgun or SMG works best, especially if you aim for headshots to deal the most damage. Keep moving to dodge the Kan’s strong melee attacks. Before taking on the boss directly, take out its henchmen first—this will keep you from getting swarmed. Use the environment, like buildings, for cover to avoid being surrounded. If you’re more experienced, you can try aggressive moves, but if you’re newer, focus on staying alive by positioning yourself wisely.

Shogun X is tougher because it has more health and can attack from a distance. Bring lots of ammo for this longer fight, and consider using an assault rifle to deal steady damage while keeping your distance. Use cover to avoid attacks, and watch out for other players who might show up to the fight.

Shogun X returns from this boss list in Chapter 6 Season 1, and the same strategy will work here as last season.

This fight is about controlled aggression—focus on good positioning and dealing damage safely rather than rushing in. If you’re well-prepared, you can use the environment for a height advantage. Manage your resources carefully and adjust your strategy based on the cover available and your skill level. Consistent damage and smart positioning are key to winning these Fortnite boss fights.
