With Fortnite's Chapter 6 Season 2 comes new items, including weapons and consumables. Among the new items is Thermite, a powerful tool that can help players gain access to metal vaults and other high-security areas. Thermite is also a requirement for several Chapter 6 Season 2 quests.
Obtaining Thermite isn't easy since it can only be found in a few places, and many players will fight to get to these places, thus making it highly competitive and dangerous. However, getting Thermite can also be game-changing, given the areas it's used to access hold valuable loot. One place to get Thermite is from Outlaw Vending Machines.
Where To Find All Outlaw Vending Machines
There Are Three Locations Where You'll Find These
Finding new additions to Fortnite can sometimes be difficult, especially when you have to go up against other competitive players who are after the same thing as you. While this is still the case when trying to get to the Outlaw Vending Machines this season, there is at least a silver lining: you don’t necessarily have to search for the vending machines, as one of the season’s quests will point them out on the map for you.

Agent Meowscles may be in trouble, according to Fortnite's trailer for its latest bundle, which brings four new dapper pups to the title.
So, head on over to your Quests, into Kickstart Quest, and then track the quest that says to “Collect Thermite from Outlaw Vending Machines or from Go Bags” to get started. You’ll then notice markers appearing on your map, which is where you can find the Outlaw Vending Machines. As you’ll be able to see, there are three locations for the vending machines: Crime City, Seaport City, and Masked Meadows.
Since these vending machines are part of quests and one of the only ways to get Thermite, expect there to be several players heading to each machine. Make sure to have some weapons or shields on hand to fend off these other players.
Personally, I’ve had more luck getting to Seaport City’s Outlaw Vending Machine and making a clean break for it over the other two. However, which one I go to usually depends on the trajectory of the battle bus. I tend to go for ones that are further away from the battle bus' path, rather than the ones straight in its path.
In Seaport City, you'll find the Vending Machine location a bit north of the actual city, just past the railroad tracks. The vending machine in Crime City is to the south, and the one in Masked Meadows is pretty much in the center. Once you’ve landed, make sure you follow the vending machine icon on your screen to easily find your way to the machines, since they won’t be out in the open.
Everything The Outlaw Vending Machine Sells
Outlawing Vending Machines Are The Best Place To Get Thermite From
Outlaw Vending Machines sell Thermite and the Plasma Burst Laser epic weapon. The Plasma Burst Laser weapon costs 600 gold, while the Thermite costs 100 gold. Make sure you've stocked up on some gold before visiting these machines, or else it'll be a wasted trip. While epic weapons can be found in various places throughout Fortnite, Thermite can only be obtained from the Outlaw Vending Machines and Go Bags.

Fortnite is teaming up with a 24-year-old anime for its latest seasonal update, Chapter 6 Season 2, which arrives in the game in less than a week.
Thermite is required for a few different quests this season. It can blast and boons that can help you win your Fortnite match, so it's definitely worth keeping Thermite on hand this season.
