Week 4 of destroying 20 Gatherers, and each challenge rewards the player with an immense amount of experience. Players can hop on in and grind away at another week of Marvel-themed Fortnite challenges.
One challenge in particular takes place at The Collection. It requires players to destroy three Collector Cases in return for 25K experience. The Collection is a new landmark that is based on The Collector's hideout in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. The Collector is known for collecting exotic creatures and items from around the universe including an Infinity Stone and Howard the Duck. However, Fortnite's version of the collection only contains chests and ammo crates.
Destroying Collector Cases In Fortnite
The Collection is a landmark location that was added to The Island in Fortnite Season 4 week 2. It is one of the many new landmarks that have started appearing around The Island that relate to different places in the Marvel universe. The Collection is located on the southeast side of the map on top of a snowy mountain directly east of Catty Corner. For those who have yet to visit it, it will appear as a grey circle on the player's map.
To complete the challenge, players need to destroy three different Collector Cases at the Collection. These are the glass cases that house different items like TV's, ammo crates, and chests. Players can destroy them with guns, explosives, or their pickaxes. The Collection is a smaller landmark, and due to its housing of one of this week's challenges, it will surely be a hot drop. There are a limited number of cases at The Collection, so players will likely want to land and start swinging before they are all gone.
There are a few chests and floor loot spaces where players can find a weapon. This may be the best way to fend off opponents to ensure there are enough cases left to complete the challenge. Luckily, the challenge doesn't have to be completed in one match, so players can land at The Collection over a period of two or three matches to complete the task. For those who brave the insanity of The Collection, 25,000 experience points await them.
