The next character to Ghost Rider, and - thanks to a recent data mine - players have uncovered that his full cosmetic set will include his iconic motorcycle and chain whip. Fortnite players will be able to suit up as Marvel's bad boy antihero soon after the Marvel Knockout Super Series tournament.
Fortnite announced that Ghost Rider would be the featured character for the Marvel Knockout tournament. The second round of the Marvel Knockout Super Series starts today, November 4th, and the top placing teams will gain early access to the Ghost Rider skin before it hits the item shop. The Super Series is a special format tournament in which teams of three compete against one another in the Marvel Knockout mode. This mode replaces the players' firearms with superhero abilities, and the team with the most elimination at the end of the round will progress to the next.
Similar to the Daredevil skin that was released during round 1 of the Super Series, fans speculated that the Ghost Rider skin would also come with his own back bling, glider, and pickaxe. Thanks to notable Fortnite dataminer and Twitter appear together in a bundle that allows players to purchase the entire Ghost Rider set at a discounted price.
While Ghost Rider's back bling is a little bulky and is hard to place in the hero's fiction, the chain whips and motorcycle must have been a no-brainer for Fortnite's creative team. It will be interesting to see how players will use Ghost Rider's motorcycle. Will it come with its own custom animation allowing players to sit and grip the handlebars, or will it be another glider that uses the Silver Surfer's surfing animation?
Regardless, these new cosmetics are some of the coolest to come to Fortnite in recent memory. The motorcycle alone is worth purchasing even if players aren't a fan of Ghost Rider. Although, who can resist that flaming skull and bone-tight leather clothing. If any Marvel hero was worth purchasing this season of Fortnite, it is definitely Ghost Rider.
