The end of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 draws near and with it the first half of the final set of agent challenges. And as expected, these challenges are for the tier 100 agent, Midas. Each week throughout Season 2 a new set of challenges were released that once completed allowed players to unlock variants of the season exclusive agent skins. Players would need to complete 18 of the 20 agent challenges and then complete a special secret agent themed challenge to unlock that agent's skin variant.
And Midas is no different. Players will need to complete 18 Midas' Mission challenges before being able to unlock either his white suit or black suit skin variant. However, there are only 10 Midas challenges available for players to complete at the moment, but players can complete all of them before the rest are made available next week. So without further ado, here is how to complete all week one Midas challenges.
Midas' Mission Week 1 Challenges in Fortnite
Listed below are the 10 challenges available for players to complete in Week 9 of Fortnite. Most of them can be completed by playing rounds of Fortnite normally, but this article will break down the ones that can prove to be a bit more challenging.
- Search Chests in different named locations (6)
- Deal damage to players with Sniper Rifles (300)
- Upgrade a weapon to Legendary rarity at an Upgrade Bench
- Search a Llama, Legendary Chest or Supply Drop
- Deal damage to a Choppa with a enger or pilot inside (100)
- Collect XP Coins (5)
- Search Midas' Golden Llama between a junkyard, gas station and an RV campsite
- Gather intel during Spy Games operation matches (10)
- Earn Survival, Combat or Scavenger gold medals (3)
Upgrade Weapon to Legendary in Fortnite
This challenge isn't necessarily hard, but locating an Upgrade bench can be a bit of a challenge. The map above shows the location of all of the Upgrade Benches in Fortnite. Players will need to get their hands on an Epic (purple) weapon and upgrade it to Legendary (gold) using a workbench. This will cost the player 200 of each material (wood/stone/metal).
Collect XP Tokens in Fortnite
Again, this challenge isn't the hardest to complete, but knowing where XP tokens are located makes it a lot easier to complete. Players will need to collect five XP tokens to complete the challenge, and it does not matter what color they are. There are four different types of XP tokens in Fortnite (green, blue, purple, gold) and each one is unique and provides a different amount of experience. Search Midas' Golden Llama in Fortnite
Another classic style of Fornite challenge where players are given three objects or locations to search between to find a hidden item. This time players need to search between a junkyard, gas station and an RV campsite to locate Midas' golden llama.
The llama can be found mounted on the wall in one of the bridge outposts located east of Frenzy Farm (see image above). All a player needs to do is locate the head and then press the interact button to search the llama.
The rest of Midas' challenges aren't incredibly hard and can be completed by playing the game like normal.
