coming to Forza Horizon 5 and promising to update it regularly. Indicated to have the largest vehicle roster in a Forza game to date, the developer has confirmed approximately 332 launch cars for Forza Horizon 5, with at least an additional 42 set to arrive post-launch via the Car DLC.
As the latest entry in the long-running Forza Horizon series, Forza Horizon 5 promises to have the largest world in the series yet. It is set to deliver deeper story missions, an extreme weather and season system, improved vehicle customization, and countless trails to explore in Mexico's solitary deserts and rich rainforests. Bringing racing to next-gen consoles, Forza Horizon 5 will include more vehicles than the previous title in the series, which had 700 models and launched with 400.
Posted as a list on the official Forza Motorsport website, Playground Games have confirmed and announced hundreds of vehicles that are available to drive on day one. Festival playlists are also confirmed to be returning, which rewarded players with new vehicles and brought back fan favorites from previous titles for completing seasonal content. Additionally, vehicles obtained now will appear under a new car collection interface, and collecting a specific number of cars per manufacturer will unlock a special reward to claim. Interested players are told to check in daily for updates, as Forza is "just getting started" on announcing vehicles coming to Forza Horizon 5 later at launch and will continue to expand post-release.
Releasing later this year on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Xbox Game , and Xbox Cloud Gaming, it is believed that Forza Horizon 5 will be the best racing game ever released on Microsoft platforms. Besides Forza Horizon 5's new audio system that will help improve realism and immersion, its Forzavista car exploration mode on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC will be getting ray-tracing which introduces new levels of detail and reflections for photorealism variety in 4K Ultra HD.
Until Forza Horizon 5 releases, it's impossible to know exactly how many vehicles are going to be in the open-world racer. That being said, it has been confirmed by the developers that the title will feature one of the biggest lineups of vehicles available at the launch the series has seen. Though only able to confirm 332, Playground is steadily releasing information and continuing to update the extensive list of vehicles, underlining a continuity for Forza Horizon 5 in the following years.
Forza Horizon 5 will release on November 9, 2021, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
