Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Found season 2, episode 20.Another hour of NBC's Found means another ending that leaves us completely baffled. The final seconds of season 2, episode 20, "Missing While Independent," see Dhan at the prison delivering some shocking news — Lena got to Gabi. Wait, what?! This comes as just as big of a surprise to us as it does to Sir, especially since Shanola Hampton's character was just seen celebrating another success with the M&A team.

Could he be telling the truth? Dhan's claims may be a ploy to get Sir on their side, as the one thing he cares about is Gabi's safety. But she was missing from Margaret's press conference, and we clearly can't put anything past the Evans family. As usual, only time will tell. The installment also brings a long-running plotline to an end, with Carrie getting arrested for kidnapping Jamie, and Margaret's ex-husband finding out that their son is home.

I caught up with Karan Oberoi who discusses the conclusion of Jamie's kidnapping case, Dhan's relationship with Ethan, and Found season 2, episode 20's final scene.

Dhan Knows He Needs To Let Gabi Make Her Own Decisions

"He knows how strong she is and how much she can handle, but this might be for the greater good."

Dhan in Found season 2, episode 20

ScreenRant: Dhan's friend from the FBI wants Gabi to speak with Sir, but Dhan says no. He ends up being honest with her, so what changed his mind?

Karan Oberoi: Dhan's relationship with Gabi is so ive, and he lays everything out for her. He knows how strong she is and how much she can handle, but this might be for the greater good. They're always looking at that angle as well. What's the greater good? And the greater thing here is we've got to find missing people, and we've got to help those that are in trouble. So the fact that he does tell Gabi, he has to let her make that decision. It's her firm. She's the boss.

Carrie finally gets arrested. I know you were all very invested in that storyline as a cast, so how did it feel seeing it come to a conclusion?

Karan Oberoi: It was thrilling. Watching that scene with Kelly and the actress who played Carrie—it was just gripping. I was watching it at home, and we were very scared, like, "Oh my God, what's going to happen?" It was such a tense scene, such tense writing, and it's very, very cool to see that play out.

Where do Dhan and Jamie stand? They didn't get off on the best foot, but do you feel like they're in a good place now?

Karan Oberoi: I think so. Dhan did tell him before, I don't need DNA proof. You are her son. There's a certain level of trauma that Jamie's been through. I think he's in a good place with him. I think he can respect that. He can respect Jamie's love for his mother, and he just sees the heart in him.

So the DNA results Dhan gives Margaret is for Jamie?

Karan Oberoi: I believe that's for Jamie. Because Dhan's known already, but he got some final answers.

Dhan and Ethan have had a lot of ups and downs this season. Where would you say their relationship is now?

Karan Oberoi: There's a lot going on with the firm. So Dhan's obviously very involved with that, and he's keeping his cards close, and he wants to just make sure everything is okay on that end. That's his family. Family's the most important thing to him, and his team.

So Dhan and Ethan, I think they're great. I think they're in a great place. I think Ethan knows that Dhan has to follow this through and see everything out. So I think he's being very ive, and I think they're in a great place.

Fans Will Have To Wait And See What That Ending Scene Means

"Sir has got his tricks, and M&A and Dhan have theirs too."

Sir in Found season 2, episode 20

The episode ends on quite the cliffhanger, I would say. But most episodes of Found do.

Karan Oberoi: Yeah. Almost every episode, midway through the episode, there are so many cliffhangers. I said that before. Every episode has just so many hills, and you're just watching it, like, "What's going to happen now?" We filmed it, and I still don't know. I watch the episodes, I'm like, "Oh my gosh, that happened!" There's a lot of stuff that always takes place. It takes me on a ride.

Dhan threatens Sir and says that Gabi was taken. However, we don't actually see Gabi get taken. All we know is she's missing from the press conference. Are we going to have to wait to find out if that's true?

Karan Oberoi: Yeah, I think we have to wait and find out how that plays out. Sir has got his tricks, and M&A and Dhan have theirs too.

How was filming that scene with Mark-Paul Gosselaar? It was intense—Dhan was pretty riled up.

Karan Oberoi: The funny thing about that scene is that was like 9am. That's what I think about when I think about that scene. It was like 8:30. It was very early in the morning. It was very early in the morning to have this intense standoff with Mark-Paul.

But Mark-Paul is just a phenomenal human being. He's a phenomenal actor. What he and Shanola have done with the show has just been fantastic. He's such a giving actor, and he's just so present, and he's remarkable. I love working with him.

About NBC's Found Season 2

Created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll

In any given year, more than 600,000 people are reported missing in the U.S. More than half that number are people of color that the country seems to forget about. Public relations specialist Gabi Mosely (series star and producer Shanola Hampton), who was once herself one of those forgotten ones, and her crisis management team make sure there is always someone looking out for the missing.

Gabi, however, has a chilling secret: In the midst of grief, she imprisoned her childhood kidnapper, Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar). Now Sir has escaped and is on the loose, and her biggest secret is now her biggest threat.
