Mosely and Associates. Whether the team will be able to trust their leader after learning the secret is a question that the new batch of episodes will explore.

However, not everyone was completely in the dark about Gabi's involvement with her abductor. It's revealed in Found season 1 that Dhan kidnapped Sir at his friend's request and assumed that she had killed him. While he was stunned by the full truth, Karan Oberoi shares that his character "doesn't totally disagree" with Gabi using Sir to find missing people.

Found Season 2 Trailer: Sir & Gabi Deal With The Fallout From Season 1 Ending

The trailer for Found season 2 previews more of Gabi and Sir’s twisted relationship, revealing a major confession that alters the show’s dynamic.

Screen Rant interviewed Oberoi about how Dhan's part in Sir's kidnapping may further affect the team's fractured relationship and his character's dynamic with Zeke in Found season 2.

The Team Will Find Out About Dhan's Involvement In Found Season 2

"It's a family dynamic that is teetering on the brink of disruption, and Dhan's whole journey is trying to keep that together."

Screen Rant: What was your initial reaction when reading the season 1 finale script and discovering the cliffhanger?

Karan Oberoi: I was definitely shocked. I was like, "Oh, he's out again? This thing is spiraling in another direction." The show did a very good job of really keeping everybody on their toes, and the fact that Sir could get out was just crazy to me. And then he ended up at Lacey's house, so that was something that was very, very intriguing, very scary for our audience, definitely.

Dhan knew Gabi's secret about Sir. She comes clean to the team in the finale, but do they know about Dhan's involvement?

Karan Oberoi: They'll definitely find out. They'll get more information about Sir's involvement in regards to solving our cases. They don't know that right off the bat. It's a family dynamic that is teetering on the brink of destruction, and Dhan's whole journey is trying to keep that together. This is his family.

It's sort of his therapy from his capture, his kidnapping. This is his therapy for him to be involved in stuff like this to help save others. They're still keeping their mission base. We are to find the missing people. That's the forefront of the show, and we still are able to do that. However, just within each other, our relationships are definitely changing throughout the season.

Will Dhan be in a position where he feels like he needs to defend Gabi's actions and his own?

Karan Oberoi: We know that he captured Sir for Gabi, so Dhan's whole thing was, "Let's just end it. You had a problem with this guy. He kidnapped you. That was terrible. I'm going to get him for you and we're going to end it." And that's it. The idea was, "We'll be done with him, and the nightmare will be over." But since Gabi kept him alive, his whole thing is, "We have to find missing people." And he says that to her in the last episode. He says, "You do what you have to do to save a life."

And I think being in that position of needing to be saved, it's just his barometer for saving people, whatever his methods, it's kind of stretched a little bit. So he doesn't totally disagree with the fact that Gabi is using Sir. It's like, "Whatever works, man. We've got to find these people and they need to be found, and if it's at the cost of using him, it is what it is." The FBI in certain departments do that. They use these bank robbers and stuff. They would hire them and be like, "You work with us and tell us how to stop bank robbers." It was very useful to the team.

Oberoi Is Excited To See Dhan And Zeke Continue To Each Other

"What I like about the dynamic between Dhan and Zeke is that they had this contentious relationship, and then it just sort of went away."

Dhan helping Zeke in the Found season 2 premiere.

What is their friendship going to look like in season 2? Is Dhan going to be the person that Gabi can lean on?

Karan Oberoi: Gabi's character is so strong. She takes on the load with all these cases, and then her own trauma, and she does some processing. She does break at certain points. He's there for her. I'll say that he's definitely there for her, but Gabi, I don't think, needs to lean on anyone.

She powers through things, but he's definitely there for her. He's there for the whole family. He wants everybody to stay together. And that's the issue we're having this season. Are they going to stay together or aren't they? And that's the sort of challenge this season.

I also want to ask you about Dhan's dynamic with Zeke because I found it really interesting in season 1. How would you say Dhan's opinion of Zeke evolved and what is their friendship going to look like in season 2?

Karan Oberoi: What I like about the dynamic between Dhan and Zeke is that they had this contentious relationship, and then it just sort of went away. Dhan opened up to Zeke during the drug abuse episode, and he opened up to him about his own struggles with people in his life that had issues with drug abuse and his own capture and how things have been weighing on him and the nonjudgmental and openness of the reception of Zeke. And Arlen is also like that as a person.

He is the cast therapist. He's just the most beautiful human being on the planet. I love that they solved that quickly, nipped at it, and we got it out, and these two guys now are just there for each other, and that plays more into the season. Dhan is definitely a fan of Zeke. I think they have a great relationship, and I'm even more excited to see where that goes in the following seasons. There's no sort of problems. They're just there for each other.

Found Season 2 Will Focus On Margaret's Search For Her Son

"The first half is Gabrielle with Lacey and Sir, and then we get into Margaret's story with her son missing."

Dhan standing next to Margaret in Found season 2.

There's still so much that we don't know about Dhan's past. I feel like there's so much to learn about all the characters. We need more time in these episodes.

Karan Oberoi: I know. Yeah. You're right. But don't you think the show does a great job of that? There are some shows that explain the story in two or three episodes. You're like, "Oh, wow, okay. We got everything that quick." NK and Sonay, our co-showrunners, and all the writers, do a brilliant job of really laying out these stories and telling them. Margaret's story this season is the one we focus on.

The first half is Gabrielle with Lacey and Sir, and then we get into Margaret's story with her son missing. It's just beautiful. It's absolutely beautiful the way it's portrayed and everything that we unfold about each character's journey. Intertwined is all of us as well. Zeke, myself, Trent. Everybody's in there, and it's just a beautiful unfolding.

Is there a storyline that you'd like to see explored for Dhan one day?

Karan Oberoi: I haven't gone up to the writers or mentioned anything. We still have a handful of episodes to shoot, so anything can happen. I'm excited for every script that comes. I definitely would like to see more of Dhan's background, because it was only about three years ago that he was kidnapped. That would be a very interesting story to tell and to explore. I think his capture, his time in the military and the FBI, and his counterintelligence past.

I've been taking a poll. Arlen said the premiere is his favorite episode of season 2 and Shanola said 12. Which one are you most looking forward to airing?

Karan Oberoi: I didn't get to see anything yet, but I'm going to go with 1. I'd love to see how this starts off. NK finished us off last year, and she's starting us up again this year. I would love to see how that all unfolded. It was a very power-packed episode. It's just a thrilling episode, and I really want to see how that unfolded. Yeah, I'm going to go with Episode 1.
