Of all the she's a ditzy, spoilt, brat. She runs out on her wedding and heads to Monica, who she barely speaks to any more, and moves on in, with no clue how to herself, how taxes work, or what she wants to do with her life.

By the end of it all, though, she is incredible. She's a wonderful mother, a great friend, has a stellar career that she adores and is phenomenal at, and is more than capable of standing on her own two feet. But if that girl in a big poufy dress from the first scene could see the Rachel that gets off the plane, what would she think?

Hate: A Totally Non-Traditional Life

Pregnant Rachel sitting next to Ross at Central Perk in Season 8

While it's not a bad thing to step away from the traditional path of marriage, babies, and a big house in the suburbs, the Rachel of the pilot still wanted those things. There's little doubt that while she ran away because there was a part of her that knew she wanted more, at the start, she would probably be less than thrilled to find out that she becomes a single mother, with a unique career path, and without that picket fence or two car garage (or orthadontist) she wanted.

Proud Of: Stood Up To Her Father

Friends Leonard Green

In the early seasons of the show, Rachel is absolutely cowed by her father. She is terrified to challenge him, even when he tells her what to do, and when he refuses to tip at a restaurant (even though she is a waitress at the time, and understands how much of an impact that would have). Even later in the series, when she tries to tell him that she is pregnant, she struggles to actually tell him what she plans to do - but by the end, she is finally able to stand up and speak to him like an adult.

Hate: Divorced

Season one Rachel may not have wanted to get married to Barry, and preferred to run out on a wedding then end up in an unhappy marriage, but she still probably wouldn't be thrilled to find out that her future self is divorced. She would be even less impressed on finding out that she got married while drunk in Vegas in the first place, and to top it off, she would be rolling her eyes at her future self for marrying Ross, divorcing Ross, having a baby with Ross... and then ending up with Ross anyway!

Proud Of: Single Mom

Rachel holds her daughter, Emma in Friends

Rachel may have originally hoped for marriage and babies, and been less-than-thrilled at the idea of becoming a mother alone, but she would definitely be proud of herself for rising to the challenge - and for how amazing a mother she is to Emma.

Given that first season Rachel is incapable of even comfortably holding Ben as a baby, she would be incredibly proud of how far she has come, and the beautiful child she has in the end.

Hate: All The Bad Choices With Men

Friends Rachel boyfriends, Bruce Willis, Ben Stiller

In all fairness, finale Rachel, and Rachel throughout the series would all be in agreement about how they feel when it comes to some of Rachel's choices with men. Like most people, she didn't always end up in the best relationships - and every version of Rachel would wish she hadn't dated the odious Paolo, or gone on some of her terrible dates. But of course, live and learn.

Proud Of: Finally Realized She Should Be With Ross

Friends - Rachel and Ross Kissing

This one could potentially go either way. Season One Rachel could be proud of herself for ending up in a loving relationship, with a child and a whole lot of history, and for making the decision to put that relationship and family first. Of course, she may also simply look at Ross and be absolutely appalled at her future self for ending up with her friend's older brother!

Hate: Giving Up Her Career For Him

Rachel gets off the plane and goes to Ross' apartment in Friends

However she feels about her eventual 'one true love' and ending up in a relationship, season one Rachel would be furious that she turned down a career in Paris... shopping for a living!

Especially given that the Rachel of the pilot actively ran out on a marriage in order to pursue her own ions, she would not be thrilled to find that her future self gave up her ions to pursue a relationship.

Proud Of: Having Real Friendships

Rachel, Monica and Phoebe in Friends

The Rachel of the first season didn't seem to have many real friendships - she and Mindy were 'close', but Mindy was having an affair with her fiance (which Rachel then turned around and did to Mindy!), and lied to everyone they knew about Rachel's health and sanity. Not to mention that they barely saw each other after Rachel ran out on the wedding. By the end, though, Rachel has a gang of true-blue friends, who would stick together through anything.

Hate: Bad Relationships With Her Sisters

It doesn't seem like Rachel has ever had great relationships with her sisters, but this isn't something that she manages to fix, even after ten years. Both her sisters show up over the course of the series, but no visit goes well. Rachel and Jill fall out over Ross, while Rachel and Amy fight constantly, and Amy pierces Emma's ears without permission. While they are all still talking, it seems like these sisters are never going to be truly close.

Proud Of: A Successful Career

Rachel in her office holding a folder

Rachel runs out on her wedding in the pilot because she knows that she wants something more from her life - and she would be incredibly proud of the fact that in the end, she gets that. She manages to carve out a career for herself without a degree, just by working her way up from a coffee shop through a personal shopping department and all the way to a buyer position. Of all the ups and down Rachel has in the show, this may be the thing that she would be most proud of.
