The popular family sitcom Full House was originally on for eight seasons, and throughout that time, we got to watch the cast and their characters grow and mature each year. Stephanie went from an adorable little girl to an impressionable young teenager, and reckless heart breaker Uncle Jesse turned into a loving father and husband.
With so many people on screen, there were a lot of birthdays throughout the eight years of the show. We compiled a list of the birthday episodes and ranked them according to their score on IMDb. Here are all the times the Full House crew blew out their birthday candles:
Happy Birthday Babies Part 1 - 6.5
Michelle is turning five years old this year, and everyone is taking a look at her baby book. This clip-show episode features memorable moments of the youngest Tanner daughter with the rest of the family over the past five seasons.
From the first time Joey and Uncle Jesse changed her diaper to her first big girl bed, Michelle has definitely been through a lot of special times. She loves hearing about how she has grown up, until she realizes that her baby book is finished. She wants to be the baby forever!
Crushed - 6.5
Stephanie's favorite singer Tommy Page is going to be on Danny's show, and her dad has surprised her by bringing the mega hottie to her birthday party! Tommy sings her a special birthday song with her name in it, and he even writes, "Love, Tommy," on her CD.
It feels like they could be soulmates, until Stephanie finds out that DJ took Tommy out on a tour of the city! How could her own sister steal her man from right under her nose? It's a battle of the sisters to see who can win Tommy's heart.
Grand Gift Auto - 6.8
It's a sweet sixteen for DJ, and Joey is about to make it even sweeter. He bought her her very own car! The good news is that DJ is thrilled and eager to take it on the road. The bad news is that the car has some major problems to it. Luckily, it's nothing Jesse can't handle, and soon he has it ready to roll!
The only place this car is rolling to is the impound lot because a cop shows up and announces that the car has been stolen! Joey is under arrest unless the family can come up with a solution fast.
The Greatest Birthday On Earth - 7.0
Is the circus in town? Nope, it's just Michelle's third birthday! The entire family is putting on a circus party in the living room just for her, and Michelle couldn't be more excited. To keep busy before the party, Uncle Jesse takes Michelle and Stephanie to the gas station, but they accidentally get locked in the station's garage!
Determined to keep Michelle's spirits up, Jesse and Stephanie MacGyver up their own garage circus (complete with clowns and a Twinkie birthday cake) so that Michelle can have the best birthday ever.
Tanner Vs. Gibbler - 7.1
DJ is throwing a birthday party for Kimmy's twelfth birthday, and she's put a lot of work into it. Kimmy asks if she can invite her two friends from karate class who are in junior high and are super cool. The day of the party, Kimmy's cool girlfriends show up, and they can't even get Kimmy's name right!
They decide that they're going to invite even more people, claiming that they'll have fifty or sixty kids at the house within the hour. When DJ stops their phone call, they call her a dweeb, and Kimmy decides to leave with them. And so begins the war between the best friends.
I'm There For You, Babe - 7.1
Uncle Jesse is now 26, and as the World's Greatest Uncle (he has the plaque to prove it), he's got his hands full for the day. He has to work on an advertising jingle with Joey, coach DJ's soccer game, bake one hundred cookies for Stephanie's bake sale, fix Danny's car, perform with his band at The Smash Club for a big-time critic, and fix Michelle's Jack-in-the-box.
While he may have stretched himself a little thin, he is determined to be there for each of his family . This proves to be a bit stressful for the newly 26-year-old!
The Big Three-O - 7.2
Danny cannot believe he is turning thirty, and he can barely say the word. In the true Tanner fashion, a party is being thrown, and Jesse and Joey are giving him seat covers for Danny's precious car Bullet. Unfortunately, Jesse manages to completely total the car and effectively ruin Danny's special day.
However, it turns out that there's a car dealership that has a car that is the same make and model as Bullet! Jesse and Joey decide to get the car to surprise Danny, but they get into a bidding war with someone who has called in over the phone! (Spoiler alert, it's Danny!)
13 Candles - 7.4
Becoming a teenager is a big milestone in anyone's life, and DJ Tanner is no exception. She's having her first teenage party, and the adults have agreed to not interrupt. Kimmy is determined for DJ to have her first kiss with Kevin the Cutie, so she and the other guests set up a game of spin the bottle so that Kevin and DJ end up together.
Danny and the guys find out about the game after spying on the party, and they put a stop to it before DJ and Kevin can smooch. Parents can be so embarrassing! DJ still gets her first kiss though, later that evening!
Birthday Blues - 7.4
It's a not so sweet sixteen for Kimmy Gibbler because for once, the Tanners are not planning a party. That's because DJ forgot her best friend's birthday! She was originally planning to celebrate being together with Steve for six months, but she now has to quickly throw together a birthday party for Kimmy.
She forces the rest of her family to also give up their plans to serve as party planners, decorators, and guests. Kimmy takes no notice to the obvious fact that the party was thrown together last minute, until Steve accidentally spills the beans. Kimmy is very upset, and DJ has to fix things just as fast as she planned the party.
Happy Birthday Babies Part 2 - 7.5
We're back at Michelle's fifth birthday, and she's having a Flintstone's party. Everything is going well until pregnant Becky tells Jesse that it's time to have the babies! The party gets cut short (but not before a little bit of cake for the kids) as everyone rushes to the hospital, and unfortunately, Jesse needs his appendix out!
Things are chaotic and anxiety-provoking as everyone waits to see if Jesse will get out of surgery in time for the babies to be born and whether or not the twins will be born on Michelle's birthday.
