There have been many viral activities that have kept the population amused while isolating or working from home, and now, the latest craze has arrived. Wordle is a website where s have six attempts to guess the word of the day - essentially an alphabet-based version of the classic game Mastermind.
The game sparks many emotions, from fury to embarrassment, when players only have one guess left to identify the majority of the letters. Luckily, there have been many memes and scenes from TV shows and movies that fit these moments perfectly.
When You Just Feel Dumb

Nothing makes players feel quite as dumb as being unable to think of simple five-letter words. Starting a new line from nothing is deceptively difficult when there are no clues. But when players already have three of the letters and attempt to spell them out, without realizing it, they can turn into Lloyd Christmas.

There are fewer things more frustrating than guessing another five-letter word that perfectly fits the criteria, only to get another grey, green and yellow row. Twitter one of Tetris Effect's hardest levels to jokingly poke the game's multicolored tile combinations.
With Wordle's sharp rise in popularity over the past few weeks, it's not crazy to assume that a more advanced version of the game could be right around the corner. Only time will tell if the developer will up the ante to a Tetris style color scheme.
A Momentous Occasion
There's not a lot of feelings quite like getting the Wordle right after just a few tries, but there is certainly no feeling like guessing the correct combination on the very first attempt. Twitter @Mcklinkinham is likely one of the few champions to experience such a feeling.
The full size of Wordle's word bank is unknown, but of all the five-letter words to choose from, the chances of someone guessing correctly on the first try is incredibly low and should certainly be celebrated.

If there is one site that can be relied upon to provide some classic Wordle meme content, it's Reddit. And Reddit TheJenkinsComic posted a perfect representation of the tiles.
Not only does the comic perfectly refer to the function of the tile colors, but extra points are also given for the fact that the therapist is a "T" tile and the patient is a "P." Not to mention, the grey tile hiding in the back right corner of the room.
Relationship Troubles
Couples can get very competitive when it comes to addictive apps and games and people can get very angry when they don't succeed in getting the Wordle at all, but their partner does.
Reddit InSigo potentially saved a lot of relationships by posting this meme. Hopefully, many men and women across the world will now realize why their partners have been more distant lately.
Attack Of The Tiles

Everyone re the moment they found out that Wordle's daily challenge can include repeating letters. Some players may have been lucky enough to find out before they started playing the game, but others, not so much.
It's Been Too Long Now
Being late to the party is never fun, especially when it is all everyone is talking and tweeting about it. There were a select few individuals who managed to avoid the Wordle craze, including Twitter @PogoNR.

Getting a full row of grey letters on the first attempt is rough, but getting a second consecutive row of more grey letters is simply heartbreaking. Anyone that has seen the clip above knows exactly how Joey was feeling.
A Grave Mistake
There's no doubt that having a daily challenge that everyone can work on at the same time is a very simple yet fun concept, however, if the excitement to start the new word as soon as the clock strikes midnight isn't managed, then the following 24 hours will be like the meme above, posted by Twitter @democritus_wri.
The upside of finishing the Wordle early in the day is that players can watch their friends struggle and groan at their phones trying to guess the word when they can see it's staring them in the face.
The Shame
At this point, there will only be a few who have managed to consistently get the right answer on the first or second attempt. Even the third is usually considered a good score. But from the fourth row down, the score begins to get less impressive.
There is always the temptation to close the browser and try again, as suggested by Digital Mom Blog, to seem like the genius amongst the friend group. However, deep down, that person will always know how many attempts it really took them.
