The nigh-omnipotent cosmic entity of the Marvel Universe, Galactus , is the bane of The Fantastic Four ’s existence and is readying himself for his return to the live-action space in this summer’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps, with his official MCU character design still yet to be revealed. Luckily for fans, the cosplay community has the perfect stop-gap costume to tide them over until Galactus arrives onscreen, proving the character’s comic-accurate design can work without exception.

A cosplay shared on social media via Instagram, Cecilosaurus Cosplay (@cecilosaurus) specializes in creating intricate full-body costumes that show off not only Cecilosaurus’ love for various Marvel Comics characters but those hailing from other corners of the comic industry as well.

Previously dressing as an ominous Doctor Doom, a dangerous-looking Magik, and a gender-flipped Thanos, Cecilosaurus has also created custom costumes for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Big Bad, Shredder, Robocop’s titular mechanical policeman, 2000 AD’s Judge Dredd, and even a take on Assassin Creed: Valhalla’s Eivor, Mass Effect’s Commander Shepard, and The Legend of Zelda’s Link for good measure!

Introduced as a giant swirling cloud of energy in 2007’s middling-to-bad Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer — a controversial take on Galactus that the live-action space is still trying to recover from — The Fantastic Four: First Steps is poised to finally do this larger-than-life villain justice, with the promise of a comic-accurate Galactus look being in the cards. Teased in First Steps’ trailer, where fans get a quick glimpse of the back of Galactus' enormous pronged head, it’s unclear how big of a role Galactus will play in the film, to say nothing about what he’ll sound like.

Bringing Galactus to life after previous posts saw Cecilosaurus show her creative process from the priming and shaping of her suit to her progress with Galactus’ iconic helmet to this final impeccably-made design, Cecilosaurus films every inch of her costume here, capturing all of her hard work in a single viral clip. Taking comic-accurate elements that range from Galactus’ shoulder pads to his purple helmet to his gauntlets, boots, costumed “skirt,” and even a small Earth to hold in his palm, Cecilosaurus nails this live-action adaptation, proving her cosplay skills as well as giving fans a plausible MCU Galactus design.

Furthermore, Cecilosaurus adds a miniature Silver Surfer hovering over her right shoulder to complete this cosmic look, adding a sense of scale to this cosplay in a way that works incredibly well. It won’t be long before Galactus, voiced by Ralph Ineson, makes his presence known in the MCU, and with Silver Surfer also making their return to the big screen with Shalla-Bal’s iteration of the character, it isn’t hard to imagine Cecilosaurus Cosplay’s (@cecilosaurus) homemade design being the comic-accurate look fans will eventually see on screen when this powerful god-like being enters the Fantastic Four’s corner of the MCU!
