In a new interview with the Deadpool & Wolverine ending, as the X-Men hero was briefly seen on a TV monitor at the TVA. As far as Tatum is concerned, he believes Gambit is actually still stuck in the Void, sharing the following:
I think at that moment, if I had to guess, he's definitely still in the Void. But there's something that's happening in that moment that maybe no one knows yet.

Deadpool & Wolverine: 100 Marvel Easter Eggs & References Explained
Deadpool & Wolverine quite literally has over 100 different Easter eggs, references, and cameos galore. Here are all the ones we found.
Could Channing Tatum's Gambit Return After Deadpool & Wolverine?
Given his ambiguous fate in the Deadpool & Wolverine post-credits scene, Marvel Studios have left the door wide open to revisit Gambit in future films. While further Phase 5 projects currently look unlikely to feature Tatum's Gambit again, Phase 6 is a different story. Since Phase 6 will be leading into Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, those would be the perfect installments to have Tatum reprise the role of Gambit.
Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars will be the culmination of The Multiverse Saga and are bound to feature more cameos than ever from various Marvel properties. Not only could the Phase 6 films properly get Gambit out of the Void - if that is truly the case of where Tatum's character is - but he could finally team up with other MCU heroes. There is even the chance of having Tatum's Gambit cross paths with X-Men characters from Fox's Marvel franchise.

Deadpool 4: Everything We Know
With Deadpool & Wolverine being the most anticipated movie of 2024, it's worth looking ahead to if Deadpool will return again for Deadpool 4.
Phase 6 is also possibly going to be the last time most of the MCU actors, and even Tatum, get to portray their characters. If it is true that the MCU will go through a soft reboot after Avengers: Secret Wars, that likely means a lot of characters will be recast, including Gambit, especially as Marvel Studios is reimagining the X-Men property. But for the time being, the world can continue to relive Tatum's Gambit cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Will Channing Tatum Finally Get His Own Gambit Movie In The MCU?
One of the biggest aspects of Tatum's debut as the Marvel mutant is how this came several years after his unmade Gambit movie became another canceled superhero project that was stuck in development hell for the longest time. But given how positive the reception has been for Deadpool & Wolverine, including his portrayal of Gambit, it begs the question about whether Marvel Studios is looking at exploring some solo projects for the heroes who made major cameos in the film.
While Marvel Studios may not have announced any official plans yet for a Gambit movie with Tatum, some conversations are taking place with the star. Tatum revealed exclusively to Screen Rant that he and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige are having talks about doing something more with Gambit in the future of the MCU. The actor stated, "I would do pretty much any version of Gambit, to be honest. I think we will, hopefully. At least I’m talking to Kevin, and I just want to be in any MCU stuff. To get to dress up again as him would be enough."
Even though a Gambit movie may be a tricky challenge to accomplish with the current MCU slate, there is another way for Tatum to have his own MCU project. Since Marvel Studios are exploring MCU Special Presentations, an hour-long installment could explore Remy's life prior to getting sent to the Void. If anything, a Gambit MCU Special Presentation could operate as a prequel to Deadpool & Wolverine and establish why the TVA took him out to begin with and how he met the other Fox-Marvel heroes.
How Marvel Fans Have Rallied Around Channing Tatum's Gambit
Ever since the world discovered that Tatum was in Deadpool & Wolverine, his depiction of Gambit has been celebrated non-stop online over the last couple of weeks. His famous line "wooimabouttomakeanameformyselfere," (for clarity, he's saying, "Woo, I'm about to make a name for myself, here,") has become a highly popular sound to use in TikTok videos, YouTube shorts, and Instagram Reels in various contexts. The memes have even gone as far as to include Gambit's banter with Deadpool, who was constantly making fun of his accent.
Nevertheless, whether it's laughing at or with him, Tatum's Gambit has received mostly positive reactions, making it clear that the audience has embraced him. It would honestly be very shocking if Marvel Studios didn't find at least one more project for Tatum to show up in again as Gambit before The Multiverse Saga's end. After all, they also went to great lengths to produce a comics-accurate costume for Gambit, which would be massively wasted if it didn't get utilized a few more times after Deadpool & Wolverine.
One of the many things that Marvel Studios has always been good at is keeping in touch with what their fanbase is saying, especially with things that have a strong connection with the audience. Even if they can't make every wish come true, it's hard to imagine Marvel Studios not hearing the major love and there is for Tatum's Gambit. But for now, time will tell if Tatum will be suited as Gambit again anytime soon after Deadpool & Wolverine.
