Will Dakota Johnson end up with Chris Evans or Pedro Pascal in Materialists?
I think Celine Song's Materialists looks fantastic, and it will be interesting to see whether the film takes a more cliché route or subverts expectations. From what we have seen in the trailer, Chris Evan, as the past flame, looks like the charismatic character the audience will rot for. I believe Dakotan Johnson's character will end up with him, and I liked their chemistry so far. That said, Pedro Pascal's rich, successful character seems like the better catch overall, making things interesting.
Are you still upset about Henry Cavill's The Witcher recast?
Henry Cavill played Geralt of Rivia in the first three seasons of the Netflix series The Witcher, but is being replaced by Liam Hemsworth for the fourth. Cavill left the series due to creative differences, and likely a little bit due to the response from audiences, but it is still upsetting to see. I am sure that Hemsworth will do a great job, but he has big shoes to fill. Despite the issues with the series, for me, Cavill was always a consistent positive thing about it. Perhaps season 4 will change my mind, but for now, everytime I think about this recast I get upset.
I didn't believe those Billie Piper Doctor Who rumors, and I really wish they didn't come true.
I have no issue with fan service, but Doctor Who may have gone too far now. I'm honestly astonished, and I so confidently claimed that Billie Piper would never be cast as the Doctor, but alas, I'm wrong. I feel that the fandom took far too long to get over Rose Tyler, who was overhyped in my opinion anyway, and Billie's casting just fuels the Doctor/Rose love story even more. There are loads of legendary companions who are arguably the most important to the Doctor, and I can't understand why it always has to come back to Rose.
Is Tom Cruise going to play Iron Man in the MCU's Avengers movies?
Tom Cruise and Iron Man are a match made in heaven, but it never worked out for the actor to play Tony Stark on the big screen. However, the Avengers movies could change that, as the Multiverse Saga offers a final opportunity for the MCU to finally make that happen. Since Cruise praised The Flash movie in the past few years, it is clear that he is still aware of the superhero medium, so an offer to play a huge hero like Iron Man in movies that are sure to make over $1 billion could entice him. I'm hopeful.

Owen Wilson's Stick on Apple TV+ feels like the perfect replacement for Ted Lasso. It has the same feel-good tone and laughs as the soccer series, making it an entertaining and heartwarming "comfort" show. Since the golf series revolves around a player and his coach, I could see Stick having more seasons than Ted Lasso, even if the hit series is set to come back for more, as focusing on a full team brings along some issues that Stick does not have to face.

The Comeback is a fascinating study of reality TV and an all-round hilarious TV show starring Lisa Kudrow that debuted in 2005 and ran for only two seasons. However, in recent years, more and more people have discovered the show. I think the show could be a lot more successful nowadays, but at the same time, I never need a justification for more Lisa Kudrow on my screen.
