Nilou's weakness is that in order to create the Bountiful Cores, a player is forced to strictly use Hydro and Dendro characters in Genshin Impact. This restriction severely limits Nilou's usability in different teams, especially when there are currently only three Dendro characters to choose from.
Albedo serves as a strong sub-DPS character who can easily deal close to 30,000 damage with the Husk of Opulent Dreams artifact set and the Cinnabar Spindle sword, which was a free-to-play event weapon during the Version 2.3 update. Albedo's ive Talents can also increase the entire team's Elemental Mastery after using his Burst, further ing allies His Elemental Skill being a Geo structure can be destroyed, resulting in loss of damage until he can reapply the structure. Geo-Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact are also considered one of the weaker reactions unlike Hydro, which is praised for being strong by fans.
Players looking for a reliable sub-DPS character should consider pulling for Albedo especially if Zhongli is a part of the team. Zhongli has great synergy with Albedo and can further increase damage and utility, but if players are in need of a Hydro enabler for Bloom reactions, Nilou can be an asset. Fans could also skip the Version 3.1 Banners and save for Genshin Impact's 3.2 update, which will feature the 5-star Nahida who is considered a strong Dendro character.
