All of Ifa’s materials in Ifa’s kit in Genshin Impact 5.6 has leaked.

The leaks indicate that Ifa is a 4-star catalyst and that his role in teams is that of a healer. Based on the leaks, Ifa can use his Elemental Skill to enter the Nightsoul’s Blessing state and, while hovering, fire shots at enemies that deal DMG and, simultaneously, heal the team – it’s speculated that he will be similar to Barbara in the sense that the majority of his healing will come through his attacks after triggering a Skill. The leaks also say that Ifa can provide by increasing the team’s Swirl and Electro-Charged DMG in Genshin Impact.

Ifa's Materials In Genshin Impact 5.6 Have Leaked

One Item Cannot Be Pre-Farmed

In addition to the abilities that Ifa brings to the party, the materials needed to max him out were also leaked, and if players intend on using him at his maximum base potential, before building him, they should consider pre-farming the materials. Ifa’s materials have all been listed by name and quantity on the character’s page on leaked weekly boss in Genshin Impact 5.6.

Genshin Impact 5.6 Leaks: You Can Pre-Farm Escoffier's Materials, But There's One Item You Need To Be Wary Of

All of Escoffier’s Ascension and Talent materials in Genshin Impact 5.6 have leaks and most can be pre-farmed, but one item can be concerning.

This means that players will only be able to farm it once the update arrives. To get Ifa the closest to maxed out as possible, pre-farming is a great solution, as it will allow you to fully Ascend him and take him to level 90 upon his acquisition from the banners. The only thing to be wary about when pre-farming based on beta test leaks is that some of these items are subject to change, so what players pre-farm now may not make it into Ifa’s final kit, which will then require players to endure extra farming in Genshin Impact.

Where & How To Pre-Farm Ifa's Ascension Materials Before Genshin Impact 5.6

Most Of The Farming Will Happen In Natlan

Stormterror Dvalin flies in Genshin Impact.

According to the leak on Honey Hunter World, Ifa’s first set of Ascension materials are comprised of the Vayuda Turquoise stones – as a confirmed Anemo character, these are the safest Ascension materials to pre-farm, as they are unlikely to change. Vayuda Turquoise stones can be farmed from bosses aligned with Anemo, such as Anemo Hypostasis, Tenebrous Papilla, Maguu Kenki, Solitary Suanni, and Stormterror. Unfortunately, you can’t coincide farming Vayuda Turquoise stones with any of the world or weekly bosses who drop other leaked materials required for Ifa.

As is the case with any type of material that is part of an item family, lower-grade Vayuda Turquoise stones can be transformed into rarer ones by using the Alchemy Table in Genshin Impact. This also applies to the enemy drops and Talent Books.

When it comes to world boss materials, the leak mentions that Ifa needs Sparkless Statue Core, which drops from the Lava Dragon Statue. This item was introduced along with the new world boss in Version 5.5, so players didn’t have access to it until recently, but it is available for pre-farming. Not too many of these are needed, but you’ll need to repeat the battle multiple times before gathering everything. For reference, Sparkless Statue Core is listed among Varesa’s materials in Genshin Impact, so you may have some leftovers if you’ve already farmed for her.

Saurian Claw Succulent is the next item on the leaked list of materials for Ifa. Saurian Claw Succulent is a Local Specialty from Natlan that can be found mostly around the Sulfurous Veins subregion within the Nation of Pyro. Ifa needs 168 copies, and there are only 90 nodes on the map; additionally, as is the case with Local Specialties, Saurian Claw Succulent only respawns every 48 hours. As such, you’ll want to optimize your farming route. I recommend using the official interactive map on HoYoLAB to filter the location of every Saurian Claw Succulent in Genshin Impact.

Ifa’s last Ascension materials to pre-farm are Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang, and Tyrant’s Fang, which are all part of the same item family. These Fang materials drop from Natlan Saurian enemies. If you are in need of extra Mora (the Ascension process alone costs 420,000 Mora, plus 1,673,400 Mora to level him up with Character EXP Materials), I recommend challenging Blossom of Wealth activities in Natlan, as these have a chance of spawning Natlan Saurians. This way, you can farm both Fangs and Mora. Additionally, use the interactive map to check out the location of Natlan Saurians in Genshin Impact.

Where & How To Pre-Farm Ifa's Talent Materials Before Genshin Impact 5.6

The Absence Of One Item May Postpone Upgrading Ifa

When it comes to Ifa’s Talent materials, the character also uses Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang, and Tyrant’s Fang, but in huge quantities. Aside from the regular way of farming them, you can also obtain more Fang materials from Paimon’s Bargains, but you are limited to a certain amount of each type per month. The leak says Ifa consumes the Conflict books. Teachings of Conflict, Guide to Conflict, and Philosophies of Conflict can be farmed from the Blazing Ruins Domain in Natlan on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Because of the daily farming limitations in Genshin Impact, the Talent books can be some of the most time-consuming materials to farm.

One of the leaked items for Ifa’s Talents is shown on Honey Hunter World, but it doesn’t seem to have a confirmed name yet. This is most likely a material dropped from the leaked weekly boss in Version 5.6. This chess-like piece will need to be farmed once Version 5.6 is live and, given limitations on weekly boss challenges and the uncertainty about the item’s drop (since the boss likely randomly drops three types of materials), it could take you weeks or months to acquire everything, which could postpone fully upgrading Ifa in Genshin Impact.

Once you reach level 9 in each Talent, they will require a Crown of Insight to reach level 10. These are rare Talent materials that can be obtained as rewards from certain limited-time events and reputation systems. You can also purchase one Crown of Insight per month in Paimon’s Bargains. Lastly, you’ll need to invest 4,957,500 Mora to upgrade all of Ifa’s Talents to the maximum level in Genshin Impact 5.6, so having this beforehand by pre-farming is probably a good idea.
