Genshin Impact’s new Desert Pavilion Chronicle Artifact set is not only the best one for the also newly added playable character Wanderer, but it's also fairly easy to acquire. Players of developer HoYoverse’s RPG will, however, need to have unlocked the Sumeru region to be given access to the new items. With that exception, the domain where Desert Pavilion Chronicle Artifacts can be found is quickly reachable.
The Desert Pavilion Chronicle artifacts in Genshin Impact are especially great for Wanderer since, at two pieces, they increase Anemo DMG by 15%, and, at four pieces, they boost Attack SPD and Attack DMG after hitting opponents with Charged Attacks. Of course, Wanderer needs a strong team comp to keep him alive and boost his powers ever further on the field. With the appropriate allies and the Desert Pavilion Chronicle artifacts with the proper stats, Wanderer can easily become one of Genshin Impact’s strongest characters to date, without even mentioning his high mobility.
Where to Farm Desert Pavilion Chronicle Artifacts in Genshin Impact
To obtain the Farm Desert Pavilion Chronicle Artifacts in Genshin Impact, players will have to seek out the Domain of Blessing: City of Gold, located in Land of Lower Setekh, more specifically in Khaj-Nisut (formerly known as Eye of the Sands, for those who completed the quest The Secret of Al-Ahmar). For reference, it is slightly northwest of Aaru Village, one of Land of Lower Setekh’s many fishing points. Players will need to first reach it in order to challenge it and get rewarded with its artifacts. After it has been found and interacted with, they will be able to teleport to it directly, without having to use a nearby waypoint, and then move towards the Domain.
Once unlocked, players can take on four different challenges in City of Gold, separated by the recommended party level. The first and second ones, which recommend level 59 and 69 party levels, respectively, reward players with up to 4-star artifacts. Players looking to maximize their characters’ potential in Genshin Impact should tackle the level 80 and 90 challenges, which reward 5-star artifacts.
One of the best elemental reactions in Genshin Impact, Swirl, is the main feature of the two most difficult challenges. Whenever a Swirl reaction is triggered in Domain of Blessing: City of Gold’s level 80 and 90 challenges, all party will receive an Anemo DMG bonus. Taking this into consideration, it is wise if players include at least one damage-dealing Anemo character in their teams, to make the best use of the Domain’s Ley Line Disorder.
It is important for players to keep in mind that along with Genshin Impact's Desert Pavilion Chronicle set, City of Gold also has the Flower of Paradise Lost artifact set among its rewards. As such, it is possible for a run to not drop the desired artifact type. Also, beyond the flat stats for the flower and feather artifacts, all other stats, including sub-stats are randomized. With that, players will probably have to grind the Genshin Impact domain to acquire all five artifact pieces with the correct stats and sub-stats for each desired build.
Nonetheless, the Desert Pavilion Chronicle set in Genshin Impact is the absolute best one for Wanderer, pushing his already strong powers even further. He is, however, only one of four strong 5-star characters to become available in the game during the next few weeks. Genshin Impact 3.3 also brings back banner reruns of Arataki Itto, which is already live, Raiden Shogun, and Kamisato Ayato.
