Here are all the confirmed ways Genshin Impact is different on PS5.

Set in the world of Teyvat, Genshin Impact is known for its ever-growing roster of playable characters and open-world exploration. Ahead of the new Rosaria Banner coming to Version 1.4 of the game, miHoYo is already giving players something else to look forward to. In addition to faster loading times, the PS5 version of Genshin Impact will also 4K resolution (assuming, of course, s have a compatible 4K television). The world of Teyvat is already beautiful, so it'll be great to get to experience cities like Mondstadt and Liyue in higher resolution. With new nations and regions expected to arrive soon, there are even more reasons to be excited about Genshin Impact's updated look on PlayStation 5.

Currently, there's no specific release date for Genshin Impact on PS5, although developers at miHoYo have stated it will be arriving soon. A beta for Version 1.5 is happening, and it's certainly possible a beta for PS5 will take place after that. Before the game originally launched last September, a number of closed betas were held, so miHoYo may host PS5 betas in the near future.

In the meantime, there's a lot of new content to explore in Genshin Impact. With a new Hangout Events series, Slime Paradise, and mini-games celebrating Mondstadt's Windblume Festival, there's plenty of stuff for players to do while they wait for miHoYo to release more information about Genshin Impact on PlayStation 5. Additionally, current players on PS4 will be able to transfer their saves and character data over to the PS5 version once it becomes available.
