Genshin Impact's Light of Foliar Incision, a new 5-star weapon for Version 3.4, has leaked. According to its alleged stats, it could pair up well with a wide number of characters in the game. The Light of Foliar Incision sword is Alhaitham’s signature weapon and follows the Dendro-like aesthetic present in Sumeru, such as Nahida’s A Thousand Floating Dreams Catalyst. This should be the weapon highlight alongside Alhaitham in the next update.
Genshin Impact's Light of Foliar Incision sword had already been leaked along with Genshin Impact 3.4’s Alhaitham, but its stats have now been revealed by the leak. The weapon supposedly increases Critical Rate by 4% while increasing the Damage output of Normal Attacks and Elemental Skills by 120% of the Elemental Mastery. The effect lasts for 16 DMG instances or 12 seconds.
Which Characters Should Use Genshin Impact's Light Of Foliar Incision
If the leak posted by leaks about Alhaitham in Genshin Impact, the hero’s main stats will revolve around Critical Damage and Elemental Mastery, making him the perfect owner for the new 5-star weapon.
Light Of Foliar Incision Mixes Well With Other Genshin Impact Characters Beyond Alhaitham
With Alhaitham, the sword’s potential power is increased, and vice-versa. With the big marker on the Elemental Mastery stat, Genshin Impact's Light of Foliar Incision seems to be a great match with Kaedehara Kazuha, who has the highest EM stats in the game, standing alone when it comes down to sword-wielding characters. Luckily, the sword has no Dendro-related attributes, so it is versatile enough to make it into the swordsmith’s hands.
Going against Kazuha’s best build in Genshin Impact, however, a bit of the weapon’s potential would go to waste, since he is not traditionally a DPS, and works better as a character. The ronin is usually used in aiding with elemental reactions rather than being constantly on the field dealing damage. Nonetheless, the Damage provided by Genshin Impact's Light of Foliar Incision sword scales quite well with his high Elemental Mastery character stats.
Since the stats on Genshin Impact's Light of Foliar Incision do scale off Elemental Mastery, other characters that could potentially use it include Kuki Shinobu, despite her being better used as a Healer. If properly built, even Ayato Kamisato could use the 5-star sword. Curiously enough, the characters that equip Toukabou Shigure in Genshin Impact are likely the same, since both are swords and both scale off EM.
Genshin Impact's Light of Foliar Incision sword is but one of many leaks that have surfaced ahead of Version 3.4. The next patch should introduce Alhaitham and the long-awaited Yaoyao as playable characters and should bring fan-favorite characters in banner reruns. Genshin Impact 3.4 is expected to arrive in mid-January, 2023.
