The Dendro Archon, Kusanali, is a highly anticipated new character for Genshin Impact and leaks allegedly point at when she will become playable. Thus far, no official images of Kusanali exist (although quite a few fan renders have been appearing online recently). Still, through in-game dialogue and text, players have begun to learn a bit about the Dendro Archon ahead of Kusanali's release date.
The Sumeru region is expected to be added in with Genshin Impact 3.0 later this year, and as the update inches ever closer, fans are expectantly awaiting confirmation on Kusanali's release date. At this point, very little is known about Genshin Impact's Dendro Archon, also referred to as the God of Wisdom, other than her name and her relationship to the other Archons (who all seem to treat her as a younger sister). Even outside of a few enemies already in-game, the Dendro element is largely mysterious - and how Dendro characters will work with other elements like Cryo and Pyro are being discussed more and more frequently as the release date for Genshin Impact 3.0 approaches.
Recently, a number of leaks have started to show up online suggesting when Kusanali will be playable in Genshin Impact, including a Reddit post from Clover-field that shared a screenshot from leaker Ubatcha. Not all Genshin Impact leaks turn out to be accurate - like the ones suggesting Kazuha would get a Banner rerun in Version 2.4 - but many of them are. According to these leaks, the Dendro Archon Kusanali will be playable in Genshin Impact 3.1.
When Kusanali Will Be Playable In Genshin Impact
Version 3.0 of Genshin Impact is expected to release on August 3, 2022, where it will introduce the Sumeru nation and new playable characters like Collei. The game updates every six weeks, which means Genshin Impact 3.1 - Kusanali's rumored release date - should happen on September 14, 2022. If Kusanali isn't on the first Banner run of that update, then it means she'll be added about three weeks later, on October 5. The Reddit post can be viewed below:
Right now, there are a lot of unknowns regarding Kusanali, Sumeru, the Dendro element, and the Version 3.0 content. As with any leaks, there may be inaccuracies - and this far out from release, content is subject to change. Still, the Archons of other elements have been playable in Genshin Impact, so it's highly likely Kusanali will be too. And much like Raiden Shogun was on a Banner not long after Inazuma arrived, it makes sense that Kusanali would appear soon after Sumeru. So far, that means the Dendro Archon Kusanali should be playable in Genshin Impact around September 14, 2022.
