Although there are precise technical specifications, it is important for players to constantly check their system requirements before running the game. Executing the program without reaching minimum configurations can result in unwanted issues, such as lag and even system crashes. Even though the game is constantly getting new content, the system requirements have not changed since the game’s release in 2020.
Genshin Impact allegedly has a 12-year roap, which means with all the new content and constant patches, the requirements to properly run the title may eventually change to keep the game up to date with more recent hardware technology. Recently, developer HoYoverse announced that version 5.0 will raise the system requirements for both PC and mobile, so you may want to consider improving your specs.
As of this time of writing, the game is preparing to launch its version 4.7 update, meaning the eventual 5.0 edition of the action RPG is not too far away.
Do not stress out too much trying to improve your hardware for the game down the line. Many of the devices you use, whether they are PC or mobile, will only stop working if they are the oldest models available, so those with medium-level systems should still meet all the requirements needed if Genshin Impact changes in the future.
