Genshin Impact has a secret achievement related to Paimon, which grants free Primogems as a reward. It is extremely easy to obtain and the items conceded are always a boon for players looking to try their luck in the gacha system. Recently, the RPG’s Version 3.3 saw Wanderer’s introduction as a 5-star Anemo playable character, which has rapidly become a fan-favorite choice for DPS, so getting Primogems are still just as important as it's always been.

The notoriously powerful Catalyst-wielder comes alongside Arataki Itto’s rerun, which offers players a new chance to obtain the Geo DPS if they hadn’t before. Of course, Baal’s clone seems to be upstaging Itto, and players who pulled him are already looking for the best team comps for Wanderer in Genshin Impact. For those who haven’t, however, Paimon’s secret achievement in Genshin Impact and the associated free Primogems are a much-appreciated gift that might turn the odds in their favor.

Paimon’s Achievement & Primogems in Genshin Impact Are Hidden In Plain Sight

Genshin Impact's Paimon looks at the camera.

Paimon’s secret achievement in Genshin Impact is one that is hidden in plain sight. Called “... You could hear Paimon all along, couldn’t you?”, the achievement that grants players Primogems is in the game’s settings. To obtain it, they will need to first access Genshin Impact’s settings through the main menu.

As captured and shared by Genshin Impact’s Oowazamono hidden achievement, Paimon’s secret achievement and the prize Primogems do not show up listed for players.

If moving the scroll four times and having Paimon repeat herself the same amount of times has not unlocked the achievement, Genshin Impact players will probably already have unlocked it. If that is not the case, they should continue scrolling that specific setting until it is unlocked. Once completed Paimon’s secret achievement, which is a part of the Wonders of the World list, grants players five free Primogems.

Five Primogems are not an impressive amount but they can be exactly what a player needs for an extra pull. If they have 155 Primogems and get the achievement, for instance, they can then choose between Wanderer and Itto in Genshin Impact 3.3’s initial banner runs and make a pull. Of course, there are extra considerations that must be factored in, such as mere luck, the soft pity, the hard pity, and the appalling 50/50 shot, which may simply end a player’s dreams.

Nonetheless, free Primogems are always very much welcome for any Genshin Impact player who has played long enough to know the struggle involved in pulling for a character or weapon that they desire, and Paimon’s secret achievement is a means to that end. This is a fairly old achievement, added in version 1.4. It is also, however, one of the many ways to acquire Primogems in Genshin Impact 3.3, in case it hadn't been done yet.
