A popular cosplayer has recreated the Wanderer’s design, which will be made available in Genshin Impact’s update 3.3. This new design for the character, formerly known as Scaramouche or Balladeer, will be a redeemed rendition of him, who was once d with the Fatui. Following the RPG’s next patch, Wanderer will be playable – that is, if he is obtained through the dedicated and limited gacha banner during the first half of the version’s duration.
In a successful attempt to stimulate more hype around the anticipated content, the Chinese cosplayer Genshin Impact’s playable Scaramouche sticks to his updated look, with the notable white and blue outfit and hat. He also carries his recently bestowed Anemo Vision.
Genshin Impact Cosplay Ventures Into Wanderer’s Joyful Take on Life
While tragedy and a toxic relationship with an abandoning parent paint Scaramouche’s backstory, the Wanderer is a renewed version of the character, with a more joyful and positive take on life than his depressive discarded puppet past counterpart. That is taken into by Lujiuerhei, which showcases the Anemo Vision wielder’s glee, from a simple smile to his iconic and marketed akanbe (a playful eyelid pull accompanied by him showing his tongue).
With the end of the two-year wait by making Scaramouche playable, Genshin Impact fans such as Lujiuerhei are understandably excited with the prospect of finally putting their hands on him. Wanderer and his catalyst bring some impressive new skills to the world of Teyvat. Aside from his Anemo Damage-dealing Normal and Charged attacks, his Elemental Skill, Hanega: Song of the Wind, thrusts him into the air, allowing him to float and hover around while attacking from a distance in his Windfavored state. On top of that, the Wanderer's Elemental Burst, Kyougen: Five Ceremonial Plays, is a powerful AoE Anemo Damage-dealing attack that can take a massive bite out of an enemy’s HP bar in mere seconds.
Wanderer is among the many confirmed characters for Genshin Impact update 3.3, but is one of the most anticipated banners to pull from. Although the game’s new version brings reruns of some fan-favorite and almighty playable heroes, such as Arataki Itto, Raiden Shogun, and Kamisato Ayato, Scaramouche’s redeemed self is new and exciting, with unique powers that are not currently offered or emulated by any other characters.
He also pairs up quite well with the new four-star Anemo character Faruzan. Along with the limited character gacha banners, the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter, which explores Wanderer’s story, and a TCG mode called Genius Invokation, developer HoYoverse has also confirmed multiple events following Genshin Impact patch 3.3, which arrives across all platforms on December 7.
