In two weeks, Version 1.4 of Genshin Impact is expected to release. So far, developer miHoYo hasn't confirmed any characters for the update - although plenty of leaks and rumors point toward multiple new characters becoming playable. Here's every character rumored for Version 1.4 of Genshin Impact so far.
In previous weeks, Hu Tao was rumored for the 1.4 content, after first being expected for Version 1.3. Now, Hu Tao is officially in the game as a Banner character, finishing up the 1.3 content this month. This essentially means the Hu Tao rumors were true all along, even though she was absent from the 1.3 livestream. So, this could mean that the characters allegedly leaked and rumored for Version 1.4 of Genshin Impact will all be added as well.
So far, leakers have a pretty good track record when it comes to new playable characters in Genshin Impact. One of the characters rumored to be added to the game as a Banner for Version 1.4 is Rosaria. She's already been featured in some of Genshin Impact's story content previously, so there is some merit to the Rosaria rumors. Of every character expected for the Version 1.4 content, Rosaria seems the most likely right now.
Genshin Impact 1.4 Playable Characters - Mimi & Ayaka Rumors
Another character being heavily rumored for the Version 1.4 update is Mimi. The character was a part of an alleged datamine last year, but there's been no official in-game footage of Mimi yet. Because of this, the validity of rumors suggesting Mimi will be playable in Genshin Impact 1.4 seem hard to discern. It's certainly always possible that Mimi will show up in Version 1.4, but right now, these rumors seem less likely than Rosaria or Ayaka.
Ayaka has been rumored for Genshin Impact for a long time. She was featured in the closed beta of the game, and footage of Ayaka has leaked multiple times. Because of this, there's a good chance Ayaka could be playable in Genshin Impact soon, and Version 1.4 seems like a great possibility. Of course, there are a lot of characters who have been leaked or rumored for the game at this point, but Ayaka, Mimi, and Rosaria seem to be the most likely candidates to Genshin Impact's roster in the newest update.
For now, none of these characters have been officially confirmed for the Version 1.4 content by miHoYo. However, given how strong and persistent these rumors regarding Ayaka, Mimi, and Rosaria are, there's a good chance at least one of them will be playable in Genshin Impact when the new update arrives.
