In addition to the video game, Genshin Impact's webtoon has also gained significant traction for providing more storylines featuring fan-favorite characters (as well as its adorable art).
The latest update in Genshin's 4- comics series, titled Battle with Stormterror, features two spotlight characters: Venti, attempts to assist them with an ability that creates an upward moving current. His assist finds itself misplaced, as the wind prevents Aether and Paimon from pursuing Stormterror. Players of any team-based game can understand this sort of miscommunication, but that's not the only thing that makes this short comic particularly relatable.

In the digital world of Genshin Impact, plenty of gamers struggle with defeating the in-game boss, Stormterror. Boss levels always present their own variety of challenges. Not only does Stormterror appear incredibly intimidating to players of all skill levels, but the mission also can leave anyone attempting to beat it quickly drained of health. It may not be the most difficult boss in the game. Still, solving the puzzle-like mission can be surprisingly time-consuming.
Stormterror posing quite the challenge for Aether and Paimon may not be a huge surprise for players. Of course, it doesn't help to have their plan disrupted by an ally, even with the best intentions. The harmless mistake, while maybe putting them back a few steps, probably won't keep them from going after Stormterror again next comic. Gamers may read this and find themselves heavily relating to the situation.
Genshin Impact has a reputation for coming off slightly misleading for new players, who expect a lack of difficulty throughout the game, only to find later stages much harder. The experience can be wildly different for players of different skill levels, but the consensus seems the same in regards to bosses such as Stormterror; these missions can be incredibly frustrating. This webcomic captures that feeling perfectly, as Aether and Paimon are certainly not giving up after this small defeat, but that probably doesn't mean they're excited about it! But, all else aside, the comedic relief that comes from Aether's exasperated, unsurprised expression makes the whole comic just that much better.
