Grinding through Story and Ghost of Tsushima is a tour de force. There are many different emotes and sword VFX that will take a lot of runs through stories and survival. Some are easier than others to get, and some of the die-hard completionists will be wondering how to get them. Luckily, there is a light at the end of the tunnel to get them.

Legends mode in Ghost of Tsushima is not for the faint of hard. The story, and survival missions, can prove extremely challenging, especially when thinking of the Nightmare modes. Bringing a friend, or maybe three, is a good idea, especially when tackling The Tale of Iyo raids. An excellent tip to keep in mind in Legends is to keep deconstructing items to optimize builds. One more helping hand is to keep completing bonus objectives during the story and survival missions to get some extra loot.

How To Unlock All Emotes In Legends Mode For Ghost Of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima Legends Feature

Emotes in Ghost of Tsushima get unlocked by achieving specific requirements, and luckily, they don't have to be repeated for each class. Here is the list of all emotes and how to unlock each one:

  • Rally Up: Unlocked when entering Legends for the first time.
  • Watching You: Unlocked at the same time as Rally Up.
  • onish: Unlocked with Rally Up and Watching You.
  • Shush: The last of four emotes unlocked upon beginning Legends.
  • Kanpai: Finding 20 Gyozen's Lost Scrolls will unlock this emote.
  • Let's Go: Instead of finding 20 scrolls, find 10 Gyozen's Lost Scrolls to get this emote.
  • Exhausted: Like the previous two, but Exhausted needs only five Gyozen's Lost Scrolls.
  • Yes, My Lord: Only finding three Gyozen's Lost Scrolls for this emote.
  • Monkey Dance: Getting 20 Oni Treasures will unlock the emote.
  • Hooray: Unlock this emote by getting 10 Oni Treasures.
  • Banzai: Five Oni Treasure getting found open the emote.
  • Please: opening three Oni Treasures leads to the emote.
  • Tranquility: Buying and using 40 gifts in survival will unlock this emote for use.
  • Scorched: Killing 500 Oni enemies get this fired up emote.
  • Threaten: Going to the Legends' main screen and rerolling the daily challenges 40 times opens the emote.
  • Purge: This emote is a challenging one to get because players have to hallucinate an enemy, and get them to kill an Oni has to happen five times to acquire.

The Purge emote is a challenging one to get and an easy way to get it is to lower an Oni's health down to a sliver and use a blowgun to hallucinate a standard enemy in the Oni's vicinity to kill them.
