Ghostbusters, which follows four men who make it their mission to save New York City from paranormal threats. The newest film in the franchise sees the granddaughter of original Ghostbuster Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) discover the truth behind her grandfather's familial neglect and team with a new crew of Ghostbusters to save her town from another apocalyptic danger. Both critics and audiences favored the film, but some criticized it for pandering to nostalgic fanbases.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife stars Paul Rudd as Grooberson, Finn Wolfhard as Trevor, Mckenna Grace as Phoebe, Logan Kim as Podcast, and Celeste O'Connor as Lucky. It also marks the live-action return of the original Ghostbusters, including Bill Murray as Peter Venkman, Dan Aykroyd as Ray Stantz, and Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore, following their roles in the 1989 sequel, Ghostbusters II. Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan wrote the film. Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a part of the Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection box set alongside the first two films, the Making of Ghostbusters book, and a digital version of the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot.
