Ghostbusters fan art recreates Afterlife's scene with the original cast in the style of The Real Ghostbusters. The multimedia franchise started with the 1984 classic film starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson as four paranormal investigators in New York City. With a profound effect on popular culture and a dedicated fan following, the film received multiple sequels, including the recent legacy sequel Ghostbusters: Afterlife in 2021. In addition to feature films, the franchise also spawned the animated spinoff series, The Real Ghostbusters, which continued the adventures of Dr. Venkman, Dr. Spengler, Dr. Stantz, and Winston.
Some recent fan art saw fit to reimagine Ghostbusters: Afterlife's scene with the original cast in the animated style of The Real Ghostbusters, which ran from 1986 to 1991. Check out the fan art below:

Will The Original Cast Return In Ghostbusters: Afterlife 2?
Shortly after the success of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, an untitled sequel was quickly greenlit with much of the new cast returning, including Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, and Mckenna Grace as Trevor, Callie, and Phoebe Spengler. However, longtime fans are likely more interested in seeing the original cast come back for some more ghostbusting. Aykroyd and Hudson have expressed interest in returning for the sequel, with Afterlife 2 set photos already showing Winston's return in the sequel.
While there has been no official confirmation on other original cast returning, Hudson seemingly confirmed that Aykroyd and Murray would also be appearing in Afterlife 2. The original Ghostbusters only appeared in Afterlife for one scene, though it was one of the most well-received scenes of the entire movie. With the actors and audiences having a mutual interest in returning, it would only make sense for the four original Ghostbusters cast to return for extended appearances.
