Ghosts Season 3 Story Details

Jay with three ghosts behind him

Story details for Ghosts season 3 have not been revealed, but some possibilities can be gleaned from the end of season 2 and the general trend of the series. At the end of season 2, Sam and Jay have settled into their lives alongside the ghosts and have even come to appreciate their situation. The ghosts have also managed to settle some business of their own and Hetty, Alberta, and Isaac have all made major strides in growing in life after death. Ghosts could see more backstories explored in season 3 and show more of the spectral characters discovering the causes of their deaths.

One story beat that will definitely be explored in season 3 of Ghosts came at the very end of season 2. Sam and Jay saw a bright light going up from their home into the sky, which means one of the ghosts has ed on to the afterlife. This only happens when a ghost manages to solve a long unresolved issue for themselves. The season ends before Jay and Sam reveal who it is who left. Depending on who it is who has gone on, the humans and ghosts will have to deal with a missing member of their makeshift “family” in Sophia Woodstone’s manor home, for better or worse.
