Woodstone B&B, run by Rose McIver's Sam and Utkarsh Ambudkar's Jay. Now, both living and dead have been co-existing for three years now With the introduction of a new spirit, it's about to get much even more bizarre.
Ghosts new spirit for its fourth installment won't just be a big deal for Isaac Higgintoot since he's a national icon. While Ambudkar teased that he wanted this spirit to the series in the past, it's a pleasant surprise that the spirit will the Mary Holland's Patience and Dean Norris' Frank, Sam's dad, as another new character in the hit TV show for four years running this season.
Ghosts Season 4 Will Introduce The Ghost Of Alexander Hamilton
Lin-Manuel Miranda Could Play Alexander Hamilton
Ghosts season 4 will finally introduce Alexander Hamilton, as confirmed by the people behind the show. One of the most exciting things about the sitcom is how it continues to build its lore. For instance, most of the spirits in the series are geographically bound to where they died. Considering Hamilton died in Greenwich Village in New York City, Hamilton's ghost is close enough to Woodstone. Still, getting him onto the property to interact with the other ghosts will take a creative storyline.
There's no one else better since Miranda is widely recognized for the role after producing and starring in Hamilton, the Broadway musical.
The historical character is an exciting addition to the cast since Alexander Hamilton is Ambudkar's dream ghost to feature in the series. The actor who plays Jay is close to the Hamilton actor and producer Lin-Manuel Miranda in real life, and he's repeatedly said that he wants to feature Miranda on the show as Hamilton. There's no one else better since Miranda is widely recognized for the role after producing and starring in Hamilton, the Broadway musical. Still, Ghosts hasn't said who will play the character or when he will feature yet.
Alexander Hamilton's Arrival Pay Off Isaac's Grudge
Isaac Higgintoot Resents His Peer
It will be interesting to see Hamilton interact with the other spirits, particularly Isaac Higgintoot. The Founding Father's memory haunts Isaac, who knew him during his lifetime in the Revolutionary War Era. However, Isaac only recently discovered that Hamilton was a household name. A fellow diplomat of his time, Isaac doesn't see what all the hype about Hamilton is for. He's even more confounded when he learns that a popular Broadway musical was made about the Federalist while he is just a footnote in history.
Now that he is working with Sam on a book about his life, Isaac has more reasons to feel confident around Hamilton.
Isaac may meet the ghost of Alexander Hamilton and still be unable to see all the fuss, maintain his grudge, or even double down on it. Alternatively, Hamilton could become a fan of Isaac's, which would be an unexpected twist. Now that he is working with Sam on a book about his life, Isaac has more reasons to feel confident around Hamilton, and Isaac may be able to redeem the fact that he was overlooked by the other diplomats of his time.
How Hamilton's Arrival Will Impact Isaac's Story Moving Forward
Isaac Has So Much Going On In Ghosts Season 4
Isaac has a lot going on in Ghosts season 4, and the arrival of Alexander Hamilton will only make things more complicated. After breaking off his engagement in the Ghosts season 3 finale, Isaac still navigates an awkward breakup with Nigel. A British war soldier who Isaac shot in the chest, Nigel is typically polite and cheery but has been moping around the mansion since he was left at the altar. Oddly, Ghosts doesn't seem to really pay that much attention to what should be a more tragic split, considering how big the relationship was for both involved.

Ghosts Season 4 Secretly Brings Back An Original Spirit That Hasn't Been Seen Since The Season 3 Premiere
CBS Ghosts subtly brings back a character in the season 4 premiere who has nearly been forgotten despite being one of the original ghosts.
Isaac also deals with the aftermath of saving Patience, a Puritan ghost he banished to the dirt, after encountering her in the Ghosts season 3 finale. The point is that Isaac is dealing with a lot, and when Hamilton does show up, it might not be the most significant thing Isaac has going on this year. Between navigating politics around Patience's arrival and trying to be cordial with his ex, Isaac has more to do in season 4 than mope about Hamilton. However, he will undoubtedly have words for him when the gentlemen meet in Ghosts season 4.
