This storyline was previously announced during the show's San Diego Comic-Con 2024. Despite that, the roles of the Arondekar parents have yet to be cast. Whoever plays the pair will Punam Patel and Andrew Leeds, as they also return as Jay’s sister Bela and her boyfriend Eric. Meanwhile, Sam's father is already set to be portrayed by Dean Norris, best known for his role as Hank on Breaking Bad.

That was followed by the arrival of Bela, who has been featured in Ghosts multiple times. At one point, she was even about to have an illicit affair with Trevor, despite him being a spirit. Jay and Bela's parents getting introduced in season 4 simply continues that trend.

It will also be curious to see what brings Mr. and Mrs. Arondekar to the Woodstone Mansion for the first time, especially since it has been years since Jay and Sam have lived in the haunted B&B for a few years now.

Seeing them in Ghosts season 4 can offer viewers an idea of the kind of upbringing that the siblings had. As previously established, Sam's childhood wasn't exactly great. Considering Jay and Bela's relationship, however, it's possible that they had a very different experience. The arrival of Jay's parents is proof that Ghosts season 4 will be big for Utkarsh Ambudkar. Aside from meeting the rest of his family, the year will also mark a turning point for the character, as Jay finally sees the spirits three years after Sam first got her supernatural power. I'm particularly interested in seeing whether these two plots have any connections with each other. For context, Bela has long known about the ghosts in Woodstone Mansion, and somehow, she isn't scared about it. That may not be the same for her parents, however.
