What Ghosts Season 4's Midseason Premiere Synopsis Means For Jay's Story
The Aspiring Cook Is Closing In On His Dream
For some time now, Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones) has served as Jay's silent investor, as he has plenty of money to give that he will never use. However, Jay won't be able to simply explain Isaac's presence to Mark, since the only person who can actually see the ghosts is Sam. This puts a new spin on a situation the Ghosts characters often find themselves in, which is when Sam and Jay must cover for the fact that there are several spirits occupying the Woodstone Manor. This time, though, it could have a huge impact on Jay's story.

Every Ghosts US Character Who Is Based On Someone From The UK Version
The American Ghosts series has many characters based on the British version that inspired the CBS series, and understanding the connections is vital.
As Jay continues to move closer towards setting up his dream restaurant in the Woodstone Manor's barn, his goal has become more personal after season 4's holiday episode saw him convince his parents to his dream. What's more, he used it to pay tribute to all they had done for him. As such, after so much work has been put into making the restaurant a reality, the struggle to convince Mark of the existence of the "investor" is a good emotional hook to kick off the second part of Ghosts season 4.
Our Take On Ghosts Season 4's Midseason Premiere Story
Could It Be Make Or Break For The Couple?
Ghosts season 4 has found several ways to explore new layers of their characters, such as through the introduction of a new ghost and the arrival of Jay's parents. Still, the show manages to keep devising new wacky situations for the cast to get into. It's nice to see the Ghosts midseason premiere will pick up immediately with another tale that could play a big part in the central narrative right after its hiatus. However, with Sam and Jay left to explain the setbacks Mark and his crew have faced, the next adventure could potentially derail everything they have worked so hard for.
