In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Golding shares an update about the future of G.I. Joe. While the actor doesn't reveal any firm information about what's to come, he expresses faith in Paramount's plans for the franchise. Check out his comment below:
"I mean, Lorenzo di Bonaventura is a busy man and a phenomenal producer, and it's in safe hands. Whatever happens, I think it's going to be a combination of what has come and what is to come. I think Paramount have some grand, grand plans."

Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts' Crossover Tease Explained
None of the three recent G.I. Joe movies were popular with critics, but the first, two at least, were hits at the box office. As seen in the chart below, however, Snake Eyes was neither a success critically nor commercially, and it lost Paramount tens of millions. It should be mentioned, however, that Snake Eyes hit theaters in July 2021, a time when audiences were far more selective about what movies they saw in theaters as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continued.

Snake Eyes' failure undoubtedly splashed cold water on whatever plans may have been in place for the franchise, but the tease at the end of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts signals that Paramount is still keen on rejuvenating G.I. Joe. At the end of the film, Anthony Ramos' Noah attends what he thinks is a job interview, only to find that he is being recruited into the G.I. Joe organization. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts' box office, however, was also somewhat disappointing, and it's currently the lowest-grossing entry in the franchise.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is currently available to stream on Prime Video.
While both the G.I. Joe and Transformers franchises have hit new lows in recent years, it's possible that, together, they can return to being successful. The next film, for example, could be a full-on crossover, with Noah and the Joes teaming up with Optimus Prime and the Autobots to stop a new threat. Whether this crossover will feature Golding back as legendary G.I. Joe character Snake Eyes remains to be seen, but the actor evidently believes that the future of the franchise is bright.
