As revelaed by Skybound Entertainment, the preview for Scarlett #4 – written by Kelly Thompson, with art by – shows the story picking up after Scarlett shuts off the energy shield holding the mysterious weapon in the Sato buildings.
The victory is short-lived, as Scarlett and the others discover the weapon has descended through the floor after the shields shut off in a “final gambit.” Storm Shadow suggests he, Scarlett and Jinx split up to retrieve the weapon, and fans get a chance to see the deadly ninja unleashed as he draws his swords and goes on a killing spree.

Little has been revealed about Storm Shadow in the Energon Universe as of this moment. Readers can assume that this version of the ninja is still Thomas Arashikage, heir to the clan of the same name, but anything is possible in Skybound’s remixed continuity. Although he made his debut in Scarlett #1, the character has largely been an enigmatic figure in the miniseries thus far.
