Warning! Spoilers for Ginny & Georgia season 3 ahead!
Ginny & Georgia season 2 went public, the world seemed to see the woman as she truly was.
Of course, the fact that Georgia was actually guilty didn't change the fact that her children wanted her to be free in Ginny & Georgia season 3. Ginny's life fell apart even more than before, especially after Marcus told her that he didn't love her. She and Austin were removed from Georgia's home and placed with their fathers, which was especially concerning for the younger boy, considering Gil's potential for violence. Once Paul announced he was divorcing Georgia, the game seemed to be over. However, Austin's testimony in court changed everything in Ginny & Georgia season 3.
Georgia Was Found Not Guilty Of Tom Fuller's Murder
Austin Claimed That Gil Killed Tom Instead
Georgia was sure that she would be found guilty in Ginny & Georgia season 3. The world had already identified her as the "Mayoress Murderess," and they were absolutely correct. Though Georgia initially tried to run away, she made the rare good decision of turning herself in so that she could at least continue to see her children, even if it were from prison. It seemed, for a moment, that Georgia would accept responsibility for her crimes and put an end to the lying. However, when Simone called Austin to the stand, the boy surprised everyone with one last shocking lie.
Austin claimed that, while he was hiding in Tom Fuller's room, he saw his father, Gil, murder the terminally ill man with a pillow. This was, of course, not true. We saw what Austin actually witnessed back in Ginny & Georgia season 2. However, Georgia's son had planted a seed that couldn't be ignored. When Cynthia Fuller then took the stand and said that Gil could have come into the house and murdered Tom without anyone noticing him, there was just enough reasonable doubt for the jury to deliver a "not guilty" verdict for Georgia.
Austin and Cynthia's testimonies not only ensured that Georgia walked in Ginny & Georgia season 3, but they also changed the tide of public opinion. All of a sudden, the Mayoress Murderess was a sympathetic victim of domestic violence who was unfairly arrested for the crime of her ab. Ultimately, this means that Georgia returned home to a community that liked her more than they ever had before.
Why Austin & Cynthia Lied About Gil Killing Tom Fuller
Ginny Took Control Of Georgia's Fate
Austin and Cynthia saved Georgia in Ginny & Georgia season 3, but it was Ginny who was the true mastermind of the situation. The duo never would have lied if it weren't for Georgia's daughter, who, after three seasons of trying to be nothing like her mother, fully embraced the monster within. Ginny became desperate to protect Austin from Gil, who had announced that he planned to move to Michigan and violently grabbed Ginny's arm when she tried to oppose. So, Ginny did what she had learned from her mother to do in such desperate situations, she lied and manipulated.

Georgia's Tom Decision Has To Be The Dumbest Thing She's Done
Georgia Miller has made many questionable choices in Ginny & Georgia, but her Tom Fuller decision in season 2 is one of the dumbest ones.
It was easy for Georgia to convince Austin to turn on his father after she showed him the marks Gil had left on her arm. Cythia was trickier, however. To get the woman to lie and say that Gil could have been at her house the night that Tom was murdered, Ginny told her that cameras at the Blue Farm Cafe could be used to prove that Cynthia had been having an affair with Joe. This would give Cynthia a motive to murder her husband, so she was left with no choice but to back up Austin's claim. If not for Ginny, Georgia would never have gone free.
Of course, neither Austin nor Ginny will be okay after the lengths they went to free Georgia in Ginny & Georgia season 3.
Of course, neither Austin nor Ginny will be okay after the lengths they went to free Georgia in Ginny & Georgia season 3. Gil was a bad person, and he surely would have turned his violence on his son eventually. However, Austin still loved his father. He saved Georgia, but there's no coming back from what he saw her do, and blaming it on Gil only made things worse. Ginny, on the other hand, is now wholly responsible for anything Georgia does. If she hurts anyone again in Ginny & Georgia, it will be because Ginny kept her mother out of prison.
Max's Troubles In Ginny & Georgia Season 3's Ending Explained
Max Is Struggling Ahead Of Ginny & Georgia Season 4
Though Georgia's not-guilty verdict and the subsequent consequences were the primary focus of Ginny & Georgia season 3's finale, there was a surprising amount of attention placed on Max's story. Her relationships with Ginny, Abby, and Norah had begun to suffer, and Max noticed that these girls had grown much closer to one another than they had to her. If she tried to bring this up, she was accused of being overly dramatic. Max is a deeply emotional person, and at the end of Ginny & Georgia season 3, she was being treated as if her emotions were too much of a burden on those around her.
Though Max's friendships were a significant problem, the true root of her issues in Ginny & Georgia season 3 was Marcus. His depression had grown worse, and Max began to suspect that her brother had developed a dangerous drinking problem. When she confronted him and suggested that he get help, Marcus threatened that he would never forgive her if he told their parents. Max ultimately made the brave choice to get help for Marcus anyway, taking on the risk that her brother, friends, and parents may never fully forgive her for not quietly sitting with her feelings.
Marcus Is On His Way To Rehab At The End Of Ginny & Georgia Season 3
Max Made Sure That Marcus Got The Help He Needed
Ellen and Clint Baker were initially reluctant to listen to Max and get Marcus real help. They were worried that taking their son to rehab would hinder his future, making it difficult to catch up in school and staining his reputation. However, at the end of Ginny & Georgia, we see Ellen taking Marcus to a facility. As they drove away, Marcus found Ginny's poem, Sunshine, which detailed the small glimpses of light she could see in Marcus through the darkness and shadow of his depression. Hopefully, when Ginny & Georgia returns with season 4, Marcus will have gotten the help he needs.
Are Georgia & Joe A Couple Now In Ginny & Georgia?
Joe Was The Only One Of Georgia's Men To Stick By Her
Paul was supposed to be Georgia's Prince Charming in Ginny & Georgia, but the stunt she pulled with the pregnancy test was the final straw for the Mayor of Wellsbury. He publicly divorced her, but this blew up in his face when Georgia was ultimately found not guilty and labeled a victim. Joe, on the other hand, was there for Georgia from beginning to end. After getting out of prison, Georgia even told Joe the truth about her history of murder. Paul and Zion had turned their backs on Georgia, but Joe accepted every single part of her.

Ginny & Georgia: Here's What Happened To Every One of Georgia's Lovers
Here's what happened to Anthony, Gil, Kenny, Zion, and Paul, the lovers of Georgia Miller, mother to Ginny, and a master manipulator at heart.
Whether Joe is right or wrong for continuing to love Georgia despite her crimes will have to be determined by future seasons of Ginny & Georgia. For now, however, the pair must keep their relationship on the down low. Georgia mentioned that she wanted to do things right this time, and she knew it would upset her children if she jumped right into a new relationship. So, Joe and Georgia aren't quite an official couple, though it certainly seems this will change before long. Of course, Georgia's baby could complicate things.
Georgia's Pregnancy Surprise & How It Sets Up Ginny & Georgia Season 4 Explained
Georgia Will Have Another Child To Fight For In Ginny & Georgia Season 4
Ginny & Georgia season 3 came with a final big twist—Georgia really is pregnant after all. Earlier in season 3, when Georgia ed Ginny through her abortion, she mentioned that she had craved nothing but milk throughout her own pregnancies. So, while we never saw a positive pregnancy test at the end of Ginny & Georgia season 3, Georgia knocking back a bottle of milk was enough of a confirmation.
Ironically, if Georgia had taken a pregnancy test as Paul demanded in Ginny & Georgia season 3, he might never have divorced her.
There's no doubt that Georgia will proceed with her pregnancy. The big questions as we exit Ginny & Georgia season 3 is: Who is the father of Georgia's baby, and how will this revelation impact the woman's choices going forward? Either Paul or Joe could be the lucky fellow, and Georgia is sure to break the news to both of them in Ginny & Georgia season 4. What's more concerning is the fact that this new baby is sure to activate Georgia's protective instincts even further. She may be determined to change for the better, but Georgia is all but guaranteed to commit more crimes.
