Aesirbane in God of War is one of the rarest resources, and players should hold on to any extra amount of the substance they might possess. Once Niflheim is unlocked using the Ciphers, Kratos can finally begin getting Aesirbane in God of War. Aesirbane can only be found by opening golden chests that are randomly discovered in Ivaldi's workshop. Unfortunately, the layout of the map changes each time Kratos revisits Niflheim, which is part of what makes the area a compelling place to visit after beating God of War's main campaign.
Aesirbane in God of War is used to upgrade Epic rarity equipment and is a necessary component for each set. The in-game description for Aesirbane says that it's "Ivaldi's ultimate creation, a concentration of musts made poisonous to Aesir gods...and also everyone else." Ivaldi was a dwarven alchemist that experimented in Niflheim and created the workshop where Kratos can find a great number of valuable materials - not just Aesirbane.
Farm Mist Echoes to Get Aesirbane
Players also need Mist Echoes, a currency in Niflheim, to open the golden chests and get Aesirbane. Mist Echoes are acquired through the opening of any non-golden chest or by defeating enemies.
