Now, Godzilla x Kong's release, which briefly hints at a new form for Godzilla.
At 0:04, the Titan can be seen swimming through the water, with pale white scales breaking the surface. This hints at a form that is white in color, though it's unclear at what point in the movie this version of him may appear.
How Many Forms Will Godzilla Have In The New Empire?
Two forms for the famous Titan were previously teased in other trailers for the film. Alongside a new, pink version of the character, he can be seen in one of the trailers with veins of dark blue power running across his entire body. Given how much power Godzilla will have in the movie, his white spines in this new TV spot may be another form of his leading up to his pink power-up.
Now that a possible third form has been revealed, there's no telling how many different colors Godzilla's scales and eyes will be as the film progresses. Since he and Kong will be facing off against the Skar King and another new Titan, his powers may scale up as the threats become more dangerous. It's possible the pink version prominently shown in trailers isn't even the end, with even higher power waiting on the big screen.
Godzilla X Kong Is Promising The Monsterverse Titan War We've Been Waiting 5 Years For
Various teases in the Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire marketing promise a proper Titan war is finally about to happen in the Monsterverse.
Some of these versions may be pulling inspiration from the kaiju's past, with his new pink scales reminiscent of his design in Toho's Millenium era. His blue form also appears to have some kind of electric pulse that emits from his body, reminiscent of both 2019's Godzilla: King of the Monsters and when he absorbed electricity in 1974's Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla. With plenty of surprises clearly in store, it remains to be seen what white scales mean for the monster in Godzilla x Kong.
