Fans felt disappointed when the Good Girls cast ended their run on the sitcom with an unfinished story. The NBC sitcom premiered in 2018 and focused on the lives of three suburban mothers who attempted to make more money to their families, and they decided to do it illegally. However, their plan to rob a local supermarket ended up catching the attention of a mobster gang that used that supermarket as a front. As a result, the women ended up caught in a series of heists and their lives were never the same.

However, after four seasons and 50 episodes, NBC canceled Good Girls after a cliffhanger, meaning fans will have to deal with never seeing how the story was going to end. Despite its cancelation, fans still loved the show and that was proven when it was one of the most-watched shows on Netflix when it moved there (via Forbes). While the show never got a satisfying conclusion, there are still a lot of episodes fans can re-watch and enjoy, as the Good Girls cast ensured that this was one of the smartest and quirkiest shows on television, a step above the typical NBC sitcom.

Christina Hendricks as Elizabeth "Beth" Boland

Mad Men star Christina Hendricks plays Beth Boland in the Good Girls cast. She is a homemaker and mother of four and is the unofficial leader of the trio and turns to crime after her cheating, over-spending husband leaves her family in debt. It was Beth who helped lead her sister and best friend to rob the Fine & Frugal store. By the end of the series, Beth was elected to the city council, only for Mick (Carlos Aviles) to show up and shoot her. However, she learns the gun used had her fingerprints on it and was used to kill Lucy earlier in the series. After Annie takes the fall, Beth ends the season by becoming the new kingpin.

Hendricks remains best known for her role as Joan Harris in Mad Men, where she earned six Emmy nominations. She also had roles in the movies Drive, Lost River, and The Strangers: Prey at Night. She also voiced Cherie on Solar Opposites and will appear in the series The Buccaneers on Apple TV.

Retta as Ruby Hill

Retta stars as Ruby Hill, Beth's best friend, in the Good Girls cast. She is Beth’s best friend since childhood and a diner waitress struggling to pay her sick daughter’s medical bills. By the end of the series, Ruby wanted to move to Nevada to escape their life of crime and put things behind them. She has a chance to stay with Beth and Annie or leave and by the end of the finale, Ruby packs her suitcase, and it appears she is ready to leave her friends and leave this life of crime in her rearview mirror.

Retta is an actress and comedian who’s best known for her role in Parks And Recreation as Donna Meagle. Most recently, movie fans saw her in the comedy movie 80 For Brady, where she played herself. She also started hosting the show Ugliest House in America in 2022 on HGTV.

Mae Whitman as Annie Marks

Mae Whitman stars as Annie Marks in the Good Girls cast, Beth's younger sister and the mother of Ben. Ben was born when Annie was still a teenager. Annie works at Fine & Frugal for the majority of the series. The end of the road for Annie came when she realized that Beth was possibly going down for murder, and she took the fall, putting her own prints on the gun, so Beth could escape justice.

Whitman started off her career as a child actor in movies like Independence Day and Hope Floats. She also appeared as a child on JAG. She then enjoyed her breakout role on Arrested Development where she played Ann Veal and on Parenthood as Amber Holt. She also voices the character of Amity Blight in The Owl House and in Scott Pilgrim: The Anime as Roxy Richter.

Reno Wilson as Stan Hill

Stan Hill is Ruby’s husband who works as a police officer and soon finds himself risking his career to cover up Ruby, Beth, and Annie’s crimes. Stan is played by Mike & Molly star Reno Wilson in the Good Girls cast. He did everything he could to protect Ruby after he learns of their crimes, and it seems he convinced her to leave for Nevada to get away from the criminal life at the end of the series.

Wilson starred on The Cosby Show as recurring star Howard. Fans might also him from Mike & Molly where he played Office Carl McMillan. Since Good Girls ended, he has ed the cast of Bel-Air as James Lewis and as Detective Earl Booker on the miniseries remake of Fatal Attraction.

Manny Montana as Rio

Beth, Ruby, and Annie’s criminal activities lead them to fall afoul of local crime lord Rio who they end up owing a big sum of money. Manny Montana plays Rio in the Good Girls cast. He is a high-ranking criminal who used the supermarket as a front for his money-laundering business. He takes an interest in Beth, forming a complicated relationship with her. By the final episode, Rio agrees that he is working for Beth now.

Montana starred on Conviction in the main cast as Frankie Cruz and was a recurring cast member in Rosewood as Marcos Villa before ing the Good Girls cast. At the same time he was appearing on Good Girls, he also took on roles in Mayans M.C. and Westwood. He also has a role in the MCU streaming series Ironheart​​​​​​.

Lidya Jewett as Sara Hill

Lidya Jewett is Sara Hill in the Good Girls cast. She is Ruby and Stan’s young daughter who suffers from kidney disease. Her mother found a donor for Sara, although that ended up causing the parents of the little girl who died and donated her kidney to come to Ruby and Stan and demand financial help, which put both of them in danger of getting caught. It appeared at the end that Ruby, Stan, and Sara left for Nevada. Beyond Good Girls, Jewett, 26, is known for her role on the Nickelodeon sitcom WITS Academy.

Isaiah Stannard as Ben Marks

Ben Marks is Annie’s son who came out as trans during Good Girls season 2 and adopted his new name. Ben is also kind and trustworthy, and he is one of the few people on the show who will call out Annie when he knows she is out of line. Ben is played by up-and-coming trans actor Isaiah Stannard. On top of the Good Girls cast, Stannard also appeared in Genera+ion in 2021.

Matthew Lillard as Dean Boland

Matthew Lillard plays Dean Boland in the Good Girls cast, Beth's cheating car salesman husband. He made bad decisions with their money, forcing her to rob a grocery store to fix his mistakes. Dean was a senior in high school when he asked Beth to go to their prom together, beginning their long-term relationship. Somehow, through it all, Dean and Beth somehow managed to reconcile, and he was there at the end, ready to move to Nevada to start anew, only to see Beth remain and become an even more powerful criminal leader.

Lillard broke out in early movies like Serial Mom, SLC Punk, and Hackers before he enjoyed his biggest role as Stu in the first Scream movie. He also gained notoriety for his role as Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo franchise, both the live-action movies and the animated versions as the voice role. With Good Girls over with, he plays William Afton in the 2023 horror movie, Five Nights at Freddy's.
